Tis the season of AI. Did I say season? I meant era, Taylor Swift style. This holiday season, Salesforce is using trusted data and AI to improve how we shop, how we drive, how we sip eggnog. AI is going to have a really big impact on holiday shopping. Some of our estimates have it north of $200 billion of net positive from AI functionality for over 10 years. We've pioneered some of the predictive AI technology capabilities that now power things like product recommendations on the commerce cloud sites based on your geography or your previous purchases. We also have features like complete the set when you are checking out with one specific item. Maybe there's a set of batteries or other things you need to include. You know, the recommendations that can be made automatically through the Einstein platform enable customers to get more value because they don't have to search for additional products.

That's 25 gigabytes of data per hour that car companies can use to deliver better in car experiences. New automotive cloud features help automakers do just that. Use data and AI to provide hyper personalized driving experiences. From alert on potential real time safety issues to providing relevant new services.
Data Cloud and AI and Automotive Cloud what we're really doing is developing these capabilities within the Salesforce platform to really capture all of this telemetric connected car data at scale. Once we get that data within Automotive Cloud, we understand the consumer, a driver, their usage or their preferences. What do they like? What do they not like? And at scale we can combine this data to really drive the personalization of new features, new services that can be deployed to a customer.
It's Salesforce dramas time. As 2023 comes to a close, Salesforce thought leaders are weighing in on what to expect in 2024.
I think we're going to see an increased focus when it comes to AI in data strategy. We're going to require companies to pull their data strategies out, really rethink what they're prioritizing and how we ensure that we build that trust in the information that we're to run our businesses, but also to power AI. So the ability to unify information across the board and bring power to data is going to be more important than ever. We're going to see that AI actually replaces a lot of those repetitive and mundane tasks, tasks that we so long have relied on as a marker of productivity. Productivity is being redefined by new technologies like generative AI. We can really empower employees to focus their time on the most creative, the most impactful and the most meaningful work.
