Short YouTube transcript snippet in which two speakers discuss the Dreamforce hackathon. The hosts introduce a challenge to reimagine the Salesforce experience inside Slack, encourage builders called "Agent Blazers" to create applications that help agents and humans work together, and frame the goal as increasing productivity.
Hey, quick question for question. Is Dreamforce having a hackathon this year?
Yeah, sure is. Can't wait.
Can you tell me more about it?
Of course. So this year we're challenging you to reimagine the Salesforce experience in Slack, where conversations are becoming the new user interface for business.
What does that mean?
Well, we all want to be more productive, right? That's why I'm pouring coffee. But we're looking for Agent Blazers to build applications that make it easier for agents and humans to work together. That way we're all more productive.
That's so cool. So what do they have to do?
All right, so your task is to team up with other fellow Agent Blazers to build a solution together. That way you have a to pitch it at Dreamforce and win a $100,000 grand prize. Plus, there's other cash prizes. Here's what you need to know about building your project for the hackathon. First, your solution must use an AgentForce AI agent. The second thing is, Slack will be the main way that users interact with your solution. So Slack needs to be the primary UX for the solution to tackle a real world business problem. Make sure you have fun building this solution together. Think out of the box. Think of ways that you would want to interact with Slack and agentforce to. To get started, make sure you've already registered for Dreamforce. Of course. Then you can sign up for the hackathon in the Dreamforce attendee portal. You can submit your solution now through September 24th. We can't wait to see what you build.
