Basim Hamdi and Ron Goldschmidt pitch Brickschain, a blockchain platform for construction. The $11 trillion industry lacks transparency between parties. Their stack uses Heroku and Lightning on the front end, Hyperledger on the back, and they pledge 1% of the company to fight human trafficking in construction.
A "1% pledge" dedicated to eradicating human trafficking in construction.

Brickschain is a way to connect multiple parties in the construction industry. They're trying to build great things that endure. So ultimately our goal is to create a more sustainable world by connecting those awesome people in construction. We've had an incredible time to market because we use Heroku, the lightning force front end and the hyperledger back end which integrates well.
We are actually lifelong friends that formed the company together after spending 20 years in different industries.
He was the best man at my wedding. I think I'm more nervous about how small the elevator is going to be. I hope I don't forget the pitch.
Hi.
Hello.
Nice to meet you. I'm.
Nice to meet you.
I'm Bastam Hamdi. Nice to meet you.
Nice to meet you.
Construction is an $11 trillion industry where bad D can result in a building tilting or a bridge collapsing. Bricschain has found a solution in blockchain. Our mission is to digitize, index and organize all construction data using blockchain. Our platform brings people together in an immutable digital ledger that drives transparency and interoperability. We have a diverse team that's hit the ground running with Heroku lightning platform and Hyperledger. Our 1% pledge is dedicated to a eradicating human trafficking in construction. Let's build a better world together. Salesforce. Why blockchain? The digital ledger allows people to own data. The reality is that there's a bunch of governing bodies in construction and everybody needs to own their own data. That's great. Thank you so much.
Thank you so much.
It's so nice to meet you.
Great meeting you.
Thank you.
I think it was good. I mean, 40 seconds isn't a lot of time. We're doing something with Blockchain that nobody's ever done before. So hopefully Salesforce sees that there's a lot of amazing teams here doing a lot of great things. I think we have a wonderful chance, but we'll have to see.
