Headless means removing the user interface so platforms like Salesforce work through APIs and commands instead. This lets software agents access everything directly, write code with full context, and deploy across chat, external systems, and agent-to-agent conversations without rebuilding.

Agent are the future. Headless is requirement. Agents are the future. Headless is a requirement. Headless means Salesforce is fully accessible without a UI. So as a human, when we interact with systems, there's a user interface, right? But we aren't the only entities that interact with the system. You have agents, you have systems, you have other apps. That need to interact with the system. That's where you make it headless. No longer is code just being written by humans. We have agents writing code, and in order for them to write code with the full context, they need access to systems, whether it's through an API, uh, MCP, or through a CLI command. So you build an agent once and you're able to render it, surface it in different ways. If I want to call in and have an or if I wanna chat, or even more importantly, what if an external system wants to access that agent? Agent-to-agent conversation. When it comes to coding, I can't compete with an agent, but I can collaborate with an agent. The headless experience allows you to bring humans, agents, and platform together in a really powerful way.
