Welcome to Lightning Experience. Let's take a look at how to view and customize your list views. List views are a great way to sort, prioritize, and analyze the records that are most important to you. Let's take a peek at how to create, edit, and consume your data from list views. In Lightning Experience, you access list views from object homepages. To change the list view, click the drop down menu. If there are lots of lists in the menu, find the one you want quickly by searching for it. You can also search within a list view to quickly find specific records. List view actions such as creating, renaming, and sharing list views are here in the List View Controls menu. You can also choose which fields to show in a list and edit filters that you've applied. You can also edit filters by clicking the Filter icon. We'll get to that in a second. With the Layouts icon, you can toggle between displaying lists in the standard Table view or the Kanban view. Kanban is a workflow visualization tool. The icon changes to match the selected view. Get a fresh view of a list by clicking the Refresh icon. Update the currently highlighted field in your list view by clicking the Edit icon. You can edit any field that shows the pencil icon. Edited fields are highlighted in yellow to remind you to save your changes. If you need to make the same change in multiple records, here's a time saver. Select the records, update one of the fields, then apply the change everywhere else. Transform list data into easy to understand pictures that show percentages and totals. With the Charts icon, change the type of chart or how the data is summarized by clicking the Gear icon. To narrow or expand the records that appear in a list view, use the Filter icon. You can add, modify, or remove filters. Tired of seeing only part of each field in a list view? It's easy to wrap text in List View columns. Select Wrap Text or Clip Text at the top of the List View column. So now you have the basics of working with List Views and Lightning Experience.
