A short YouTube clip from Ben Greenfield's podcast (uploaded June 27, 2018) featuring Gerald Epstein reflecting that despite an accomplished career and many books, his core purpose is serving others — acting as a catalyst or "enzyme" to help people find their own healing. The clip is framed with a brief intro and a promotional outro directing viewers to BenGreenfieldFitness.com.
Hey, this is Ben Greenfield. I thought you'd like this little clip of my latest podcast.
What I realized was I was none of this. None of these things that I held precious, that I had worked my. My backside off for years, that I had done this incredible amount of study, that I've, you know, written all this enormous. And as I subsequently have written all this enormous work, all these six or seven books, I've accomplished an enormous amount. And I have quite an illustrious career that I've developed and created in this work. It doesn't have any real direct resonance, in a way, because I'm here to serve people. So I'm here to give my service to people so that they can find their own healing way. So I become a catalyst or an enzyme for people to find their own healing way by providing these tools that I've delivered to them for them to use as they freely choose to or not as they see fit.
