Greenfield. And I am standing here in a random bedroom of my home with a memory foam mattress. Now, memory foam technology is kind of cool. It's about 50 years old, but it's more comfortable than the average spring mattress that you might experience at the Cheapo Motel 8. However, I have here a 15 pound monkey kettlebell. This is my kid's kettlebell. I'm going to toss this on the bed. Now, you do a little close up of this dumbbell kettlebell rather. I should know my weights, right? So if we close up on this kettlebell, you'll see that it sinks into the memory foam and then it settles in the memory foam. Now, imagine that this is your body. This means that your hips, your back, everything is essentially unsupported by memory foam. Now watch what happens if I were to do this with.
A big old 50 pound orangutan kettlebell.
Now, check this out. Sinks settles. That's what memory foam is supposed to do, right? It's supposed to be comfortable. Your body settles into it. It creates this supportive curvature around your body, and there's zero support for your hips, zero support for your back. And what happens is your biomechanic suffers throughout the night. So you toss, you turn, you get severely limited on deep sleep. Now, what I'm going to do is I'm going to take this same kettlebell and I'm going to go into my bedroom. Now, when you go into a mattress store, you have your firm mattresses on one side and your soft mattresses on the other side. What I'm about to show you is a mattress that is both firm and soft and that kicks the butt of a memory foam like this. Let's take this 50 pound kettlebell, go in my bed.
This thing's heavy. All right, so what I've got on this bed is a gel matrix. A gel matrix. Now, what a gel matrix is, and I'm gonna. I'm gonna really annoy my wife and I'm gonna rip the sheets off and everything. She's gonna have to put all these back on because I don't know how to put sheets on a bed. I suck at that. Okay, so this is what's called a gel matrix on this bed. Now, when I put this on, you'll see that that kettlebell doesn't sink and settle. It basically sets right over the top of what's called this gel matrix. So it's both firm and it's soft at the same time. So let's take a little bit deeper, dive into what exactly this means. For you and your body. Let's go to the science lab, shall we?
So here on this super scientific illustration, the red you see creates tossing and turning and that's restless nights and little if any deep restorative sleep that your body and your mind absolutely needs while you're asleep. Now, as you can see, the gel matrix made by this company called Intellibed is totally red free. The Intellibed gel matrix technology is three times more firm than any other bed. So it relieves pressure points up to 80% better than any other bed, especially memory foam. This means that it's firm where you need it and it's soft where you need it. There's no need to choose a firm bed or a soft bed because the Intella bed is both firm and soft at the same time. It's the bed of the future and it doesn't rely on the same 50 year old technology as memory foam does.
So it's called an Intellibed with gel matrix technology. Now here's the cool thing. If you go to BenGreenfieldFitness.com Intellibed and you use code Greenfield, you're going to get a five hundred dollar value luxury sleep package along with your Intellibed. Check it out. You go to BenGreenfieldFitness.com Intellibed use code GREENFIELD and you're going to see a whole host of goodies that come along with your bed that is, as you now know, both firm and soft at the same.
