A conversational YouTube video (Ben Greenfield) exploring whether supplements, herbs, or technologies can enhance meditation. Early in the discussion the guest emphasizes making meditation approachable and fun. When asked about supplements for meditation, the guest says they do not use supplements specifically to support meditation but do consume morning coffee layered with superfoods/adaptogens.
So much of what I hear from people is, like, meditation is hard, and, you know, it's intimidating, and it needs to look like this. And I don't know if I like it like that. And it's really. I haven't been able to make it really stick with me. And what I love about your story is that, like, you've made it. You've had all these experiences with all different types of meditations, all different ways of meditating. You do it in a way that's fun, that actually, like, is like. I'm excited to go do this one.
Thing I wanted to ask you. You know, we talked about different technologies that can kind of shift your brain into a different state. I find that fascinating. But what about the world of, like, supplements and herbs and herbal teas and things like that? Do you use any, like, supplements or chemical aids for meditation?
No, not for the purpose of supporting meditation. I definitely am not the experimenter with a lot of different. Like, a lot of different types. I still drink morning coffee, but it's like layered superfood with the. All the adaptogens.
