Ben Greenfield demonstrates and explains use of a NuFit electrostimulation (E‑stim) device for muscle re-education, hypertrophy, training sessions, and recovery. In the demo he shows electrode placements (VMO, hamstring, glute, outer quads, IT band), live session footage, and specific device settings (channels, intensity, contraction/relax timing, and frequency). He closes with ordering/affiliate information (NuFit, code: Ben).

Hey, I've been getting a lot of questions about this newbie device, and this is what the controller looks like. You can see right now I'm doing a session for my legs. I only have it turned out to about 50% right now. So I can talk while I'm showing you this video. You can see I've got an electrode on my vmo, my hamstring, my glute, then the outside of my leg, on my outer quads here, my IT band. And I have this set to contract for 10 seconds and then relax for three. And you can use this to re educate the muscle. You can also use it for hypertrophy, for example, I can get in this position and as it's contracting, I can go up and down in basically a lunge position. This also comes with.
Special attachments that allow you to wrap around the leg and keep these electrodes on even better. But basically you'll go up and down in a lunge position, for example, as the electrodes are contracting and then you relax when they relax. So this is a very simple example of how you can do this DIY with the electrode placement. And then you can use this for a recovery protocol, training protocol, muscle RE education protocol, or whatever you want. If you get closer to the device here with the camera, you can see how my setting here is. I'm using channels three and four. I have it set at 60%. It's going 10 seconds on, and then the rest time is three seconds at a frequency of 500 hertz. And the cool thing is the folks at NUFIT send you all the protocols that you need to do based on what your specific goals are. So it's a pretty slick unit. You can check it out at Nu Fit Ben. It's me.
Fit Ben. And the code you can use over there is Ben. Or you can just call them up and ask to speak to any of the representatives and they'll take care of you. So enjoy. This is a very cool electrostim device.
