This is a recorded home/pantry tour and informal conversation between Luke Storey and Ben Greenfield (uploaded Jan 17, 2022). The clip shows the hosts greeting each other, introduces Luke’s dog (“Cookie”), and proceeds to a pantry/food tour emphasizing biohacking lifestyle choices: minimal conventional groceries, deuterium-depleted water, beef jerky, canned fish, premade paleo meals (called “model meals”), and a utilitarian, meat-and-storage-root-focused diet discussion. The tone is casual and exploratory; later segments are expected to cover supplements and more biohacking gear.

All right, here we go. Ben Greenfield. Yo, come on in. My man, Luke Story. Good to see you, bro.
You too, man.
How are you doing? How you doing? Great.
Good.
All right. So.
Cool place.
Thanks, dude. So we're going for a full on biohacking tour here today. That's Cookie.
Hi, Cookie.
So we'll do a bunch of geek out and then we'll record a podcast. We'll go through the supplements, all the things, see what you're into. See what I'm into.
Just don't kill me.
We'll see. We'll do our best. If nobody throws up by the end of the day, we've won. And. Yeah. And then we'll record a show.
Great.
Sweet. What I want to do, Ben, is show you some of the shit I'm working with here. Okay. See if you see that I'm missing anything.
Okay.
And maybe even turn, which is unlikely. Was you're about to see. And then I might turn you on to some shit too, that you don't know.
Great.
Because I imagine, like your kitchen is much the same way I have.
I don't know my way around my kitchen very well. My wife is the queen.
This is my food. Three packs of beef jerky, some stale almonds, some deuterium depleted water.
That's all your food?
Yeah, I'm not a big food guy. I have a bunch of tuna and. Or salmon and sardines.
Yeah.
And then the rest is really this. I mean, this is it. I mean, I eat, you know what I'm saying? But I just usually.
What do you. How do you get food?
I cook up some fish or some grass fed beef, and I also order pre made paleo meals from.
Okay, so you're getting. You're getting your food.
Yeah, they deliver.
Kind of outsourced.
They deliver it and then I just heat it up. That works called model meals.
That works for you?
Yeah.
Bachelor like you.
Yeah. I mean, when I had a girlfriend up until very recently, she would cook and we would pay a little more attention, but it's kind of more utilitarian.
Our house is just all organ meats and sprouts and fresh vegetables and. And a lot of real food.
Yeah.
But that's. That's because my wife and my kids are absolute foodies and loves.
They are.
So there's just. There's, you know, food everywhere.
Yeah, food.
Lots of, like ancient grains and rices and legumes and glass mason jars for fermenting. You eat legumes sprouting?
Absolutely. You tolerate them?
Yeah.
You do?
Absolutely.
Yeah.
You like. I mean, we sprout them and we deactivate. Everything ferment, we soak.
Yeah, okay.
But my. My own personal diet of late has been more kind of focused on organ meats and wild caught fish and meat to a certain extent. And then a lot of like underground storage organs, like sweet potatoes and yams, squash, some pumpkin, which is technically not an underground storage organ.
So you're eating like a northern European.
Yeah, it's a very kind of northern European. A little bit of raw honey.
You know, cup of coffee, glass of wine. But it's very simple when I'm at home.
Yeah.
And then when I travel, you know, I'll admit, like, I'll drop in the Erewhon and buy some kind of a spend $400 raw blueberry cheesecake for 40 bucks. Yeah. Buffalo cauliflower.
