You know, I'm just like everybody. I get tired sometimes. Middle of the afternoon rolls around and I'll get brain fog and get sleepy early evening before dinner when I really want to be there for my family. During our family dinners. I get sleepy sometimes in the mid morning, especially if I've had a poor night of sleep. Around 11am or so, feel an urge to go take a nap.
So what do I do when I'm tired?
I'll tell you one thing that I do when I'm tired and that's this.
Cold shower, cold soak will wake you up. You know what else you can do when you're tired even if you don't have a cold pool?
Go hug or kiss a loved one for about 60 seconds.
Meditate for 5 minutes or 10 minutes or even 20 minutes. Wake up from that meditation and then for an extra boost, take a cold shower.
Pray, laugh, listen to your favorite song. You know what? Sometimes you don't need a microdose of LSD or a cup of coffee or a glass of ketone esters or any other fringe supplement or superfood or tactic designed to give you fake artificial energy. Sometimes the energy is right inside you.
And you just gotta release it, baby.
