Crypto had another massive sell off overnight, continuing to the huge liquidations we saw over the weekend. What is happening in crypto right now is there is illiquid markets trading over weekends and a massive amount of news piling in all at once. We saw Binance sell a billion dollars worth of bitcoin. The US government has just gone into shutdown again. This happened a few months ago when the government shut down. All liquidity gets trapped and nothing gets moved. We saw Iran escalation over the US and Trump also warning about potentially military action. And we saw precious metals have the biggest sell off in human history. This is all happening at once. This is why I've been defensive since November. I have majority of my portfolio in stablecoins 2025 didn't play out the way we'd hoped. I don't believe we're going to a two year bear market. But you've got to be protected in these downward periods because altcoins bleed out very, very heavily into these very, very tumultuous times. But prices that we would dreamt of 12 months ago will be playing out in the next few weeks and months, so make sure you stay alert.
