YouTube monologue by Ben Simpson explaining how he would try to grow a $100,000 crypto position to $1,000,000. He emphasizes that achieving a 10x from a single $100K allocation is very difficult and risky; instead he recommends generating additional income to add to positions, playing market cycles, investing in strong projects, allocating higher (but measured) risk within the portfolio, and pacing growth across multiple cycles (2–3 cycles) rather than risking everything in one bull run.

If I was investing 100k today in crypto, here's how I get it to a million dollars. First thing is, to get a 10x in crypto is actually really, really difficult. You can get it, but I guarantee you you're not going to put 100k into some random meme coin and just hope for dear Lord, you get to a million dollars. Not going to happen. What you need to do is you need to think about two things. One is either generate more income to add to your positions to grow it above 100k, because ultimately it's going to take you probably 2 or 3 cycles to 10x your whole entire portfolio. So I'll be looking at more income. The other one is I will be playing the cycle. So I'll be investing into good projects, I'll be allocating a higher amount of risk portfolio, but you'd ultimately have to time the cycles really, really well to get a 10x. I'm looking at it comfortably, looking somewhere around a 2-3x this cycle with a really large portfolio. If you're looking at 100k to try and get to a million, you need to take a lot more risk. Alright, 10x is very hard to do and what I see a lot of people do is take too much risk trying to get to the 10x and then eventually just lose it all. So I would take your time, think about multiple cycles, not just this bull run, but next time the tops and bottoms. Make sure you're in good projects and that's how you're going to grow it sustainably to a million without losing it all.
