Ben Simpson (speaker) debunks claims that XRP will reach $1,000 by year-end using simple market-cap math. He states XRP is ~$3 per token with 100 billion tokens (fully diluted market cap ≈ $300 billion), explains that $1,000 would imply a ~$100 trillion market cap—far larger than gold, U.S. debt, and the global economy—and therefore calls the $1,000 claim nonsense.

XRP is going to get to $1,000 by the end of the year. No, it's not. Anyone that tells you this, please unfollow and block them as I'm going to explain very simply in math why this is never going to happen. First of all, XRP is worth $3 a token, all right? But we know that the token dollar doesn't matter. It's the market cap. The fully diluted market cap based on 100 billion tokens that XRP has is 300 billion. That's how much the market cap is worth. For XRP to get to $6, all right, it needs to double in market cap. It needs to have another $300 billion added to the market cap. $300 billion needs to be added to XRP to double. For it to get to a thousand dollars, it needs to go to 100 trillion in market cap. 100 trillion. That is seven times bigger than gold. All right? That's three times bigger than the US debt, which is about 33 trillion. 100 trillion is literally more money than the entire world economy even has on the planet. So this is absolutely nonsense. Look at the math. Realize that the token dollar isn't sheep. It's the market cap you need to look at and block and unfollow anyone that is selling you this pipe dream.
