Short video discussion (Ben Simpson + an unnamed speaker) analyzing a recent sharp crypto correction as a leveraged liquidations event and arguing the dip is a buying opportunity. Major claims: institutional adoption is high ("12.5% of Bitcoin holdings held by ETFs and public companies"), liquidity/M2 are rising, interest-rate expectations and dollar weakness support a continued bull market, and altcoins are in early-stage season with retail still sidelined. Caveats include possible macro/quantitative-tightening risks that could deepen a correction.
Bitcoin and altcoins took a massive hit two days ago with a huge leverage flush out. There's a lot of talks about is the bull market over? Is this dip going with the last one? Should you buy in now? Should you wait? The analyst and I have just released a report to our clients. I'm going to share with you for free on this video so you can walk through and get our insights as to why I think this dip is an amazing time to double down. Check this out.
Here is the post we made for our clients a couple of days ago. And here are the big things that are changing the game and why these corrections are beautiful times to buy for. First of all, unlike any other cycle before, we've literally got institutional adoption at the greatest level we've seen. 12.5% of the entire Bitcoin holdings is now held by ETFs and public companies. We've got global liquidity and M2 money supply continuing to trick up. Now yes, we've had this bit of a consolidation period. But the big thing here is a previous bear markets were triggered by liquidity concentrate contractions. We have got liquidity growing. If central banks remain positive, this is going to be really, really positive. We've also got interest rate cuts. All right, now some people think that as the US reduce their rate cuts, it can be bad for risk on ass. However, this structure of this bull market is happening really, really slowly and fundamentally strong. That's why I do continue to think that this bull market has a long way to go. The other thing as well is that Trump is trying to weaken the dollar. They're in $38 trillion worth of debt. This is really, really important to understand because the correlation of when the US dollar goes down, the DYDX bitcoin goes up. All right, that's really important. The last thing is just around Altcoins. Altcoin season index is signaling the early stage of altcoins, but the retail market is just not here yet. So many retail investors are still sitting on the sidelines waiting for things to occur that they haven't seen yet.
Fundamentally, this bull market is happening in a lot more strategic building a foundation higher. We're not seeing that crazy blow off top like we usually do. This is why retail investors haven't entered yet. And I believe they will enter down the line once we start to get to higher prices. But right now this is actually a good thing. Markets reset. It's a good time to double down. This is why I'm bullish still in crypto on the flip side, there are some things that could happen that could trigger the market to go into a deeper correction. This could be global macro conditions. It could be, you know, quantitative tightening, tightening up. There could be broader macroeconomic things that are going to impact crypto. But for now, the way Trump is looking, the way the economy is looking, I don't believe this is a bad thing. This has just been a trigger of liquidations. And I'm very, very bullish still for.
The remainder of this year and into next year for crypto.
