Ben Simpson (speaker) argues that significant institutional adoption of crypto is underway and will make 2026 a major year for the market. He cites Vanguard adding crypto to ETFs and Bank of America advising clients up to 4% crypto exposure, places these moves within a macro context (end of quantitative tightening, potential change in Fed leadership), and urges investors to manage downside risk while positioning for a strong next leg up.

Wow. There is so much institutional adoption happening in crypto right now that is pushing 2026 into what is going to be a massive year. One Vanguard has just announced they're adding crypto to their ETFs. They said they were never going to do it. They're now doing it. The second biggest asset manager on the planet, number two, the bank of America, are now advising their clients up to 4% crypto exposure. That is a massive, massive change to where we've been in the past. Financial advisors have never been able to actually allocate their clients money to Bitcoin or crypto. That's now happening. We've got quantitative tightening, ending. We've got Jerome Powell, the guy that has continuously held interest rates at rates that have not been good for risk on assets like crypto, most likely out next year, replaced most likely at this point by a Coinbase Ex executive that Trump has hand selected. There's so much happening behind the scenes that continues to push what is going to be the institutional adoption that will drive the next leg of this bull market higher. It is what we've been waiting for. It has taken a lot longer than we thought. All right, we, we, we felt it was going to be like, you know, later into this year. It's been pushed back to next year. The short term has been difficult to manage, but with the right portfolio allocation, you are set up next year to be a great year. All right, look through the noise. Yes, the short term has been difficult, but we're prepared for that. We adjust our portfolio, we manage the downside risk, we manage the portfolio. Goodness me, heaven forbid we actually manage our portfolio. Get ready for the next leg up because that's what we're getting ready for. You got to ride out the short term. It's going to be choppy, but, but the upcoming next few months and year is set up to be big. And if you're not seeing that, well, you're not going to get the next leg up and you're not going to get the growth.
