Ben Simpson (YouTube) reacts to President Trump announcing a 155% tariff on China effective November 1st, calling the news a source of market fear and uncertainty. He advises viewers to look past short-term noise, argues that crypto fundamentals (ETF demand, monetary policy, interest rates) remain intact, and says he personally is pausing new investments while expecting crypto to recover and perform well next year.

Trump has just announced 155% tariff on China starting on November 1st. This is what uncertainty looks like. It's what fear looks like. And I've been investing crypto for nine years. I've seen fear a lot worse than this. And I do want all of you to know that in times of fear, you've got to look through the noise. What is going on? Well, there's macro uncertainty, there's tariffs, there's, you know, global trade wars. There's so much going on. If you look through fundamentally, nothing has changed for crypto. All the things that have changed is that it's just lost a lot of its momentum, right? ETF volumes are down, people are scared, people are worried, and that's okay. But if you look at the fundamentals of where the ETF volumes have come from, why people are buying bitcoin, the money printing going on, interest rates, this is what firmly keeps me confident this space is going to continue to go higher into next year. In the short term, yes, there's pain, yes, there's fear. But step back from the screen, stop getting worried. The direction this bull market hasn't changed for me. I'm waiting, not investing anything, just right now. I want to see how this next few days and weeks play out. There's a lot of uncertainty, but looking through the noise, fundamentally, everything is absolutely sound. And that's why I'm very confident next year it's going to be very, very good for crypto sale.
