One of the things I tell aspiring CEOs, particularly new CEOs, is if you really want to win, you've got to focus on winning the hearts and minds of your team. Look, at the end of the day, they're the folks that's going to be out there who are making it happen. And if you come across as some big jerk or something like that, and you think they're going to take and follow you, you lost your mind. You know, you got to have a plan. You got to have a vision. You got to set that vision. You got to show them where to go, but they've got to want to go do it. You know, the days of command control, They're gone. They're over. Today you need a team that's focused, trained, understands your corporate culture, understands your process, gets up every day and are looking at where the destination you've set. They need to own the way they're gonna get there. And if you tell 'em how to take and go accomplish that goal, be prepared for failure because what's gonna happen is things are gonna get tough and they're gonna pull back and they're gonna say, I told you this plan would never work. That's a losing hand. You come up with a goal, you come up with a destination, you get buy-in to that, then let them figure out how to get there. Everyone's gotta be in it together. They've gotta believe just like you've gotta believe, and they get believing by owning it. So as a CEO, go into hearts and minds of your team. It makes a huge difference. People wanna be on teams that are winners. You need to create the culture where that happens. All right, go get 'em. Let's do something special today.
