Questions this video answers
Yes, on Facebook.
Is it true you went from zero to a million followers in 30 days? Yes. Really?
Yeah.
And what platform was that? Facebook. Okay, can you tell us how you did it and then can you tell us how you do it today if it was different?
I probably tested 100,000 pieces of content, just kind of understanding what worked, what didn't, things of that nature. And one of the things that before I did it, that really was an eye opening experience is I worked with this journalist, Katie Couric in the United states for about two years and I did about 220 interviews with her everywhere from she, Joe Biden to Jessica Chastain to DJ Khaled to Jay Leno, all across the board, even Kim Kardashian. And the fascinating thing that I saw in the data and all the testing is celebrity wasn't moving the needle. It was underlying story that drove it. Like, the most viral video we did was with a guy named Brandon Stanton, founder of Humans of New York. So it just seeded. The idea in my head is like, okay, you know, because when I would talk to people and I said, hey, I'm seeing a pattern here. Like, you can create an audience from scratch if you're not on tv, if you're not a celebrity or any of these.
