Exploring the Origin of Thoughts and Actions: Insights from Jamie Clark and Russell Kennedy

We have this idea that, starting with Jamie Clark's idea, that at any given moment, we're driven by the thoughts forming by the thoughts that we have. Conscious, unconscious thoughts we have, they cause us to take action. And the question is, where do these thoughts come from? Then we come back to the childhood traumas, or whatever you want to call them. And recently there's a guy called Russell Kennedy, which separated that into two parts, which I thought was fantastic. The first part is the thought, the stimulus, if you will, that causes the alarm in the brain, but the pain that we experience, the stimulus that causes us to act, call it the three Fs, or for want of a better word, that causes to act against our plan, comes from the body.
