Hi, Brian McAvoy here with Inside Out Trading and welcome to our site. If you're tired of being frustrated with your trading, wrestling with the psychology of trading, you've had enough with the overwhelm of so many choices and so many possibilities, so many different possible ways to do things and just in general, the information overload. Just a ton of information that's out there, plus plenty of misinformation of bad information. Well, then you've come to the right place. We take a different approach to trading help here. My goal is to help you become a truly self sufficient and independent trader. Really where you're standing on your own two feet. You don't need anybody's help, not even mine. And you can enjoy the trading that you've wanted to so that it can provide the lifestyle that you look for from your trading. Now, my background is different from most people that you're going to run across. I'm not a psychologist. My background is engineering, specifically mechanical engineering. That's my degree. Worked in manufacturing and process engineering for a lot of years. I also spent a lot of time in quality engineering, which is particularly helpful for you as a trader because quality is really all about good business and the primary focus, the foundation of good quality, is desired results consistently. That's what quality is really all about. It's consistently getting the results that you want out of your various business processes and your business overall. I've got a lot of years both in manufacturing, helping businesses, small business owners. I'm also a business consultant and helping traders apply these things to your trading. Like I said, we take a different approach here specifically to the psychology of trading. There are a lot of books out there, a lot of resources that really like to focus on the psychology of trading as if there's something wrong, wrong with you. What I've learned in my engineering, manufacturing and business consulting experience as well as helping traders is a very simple truth. If you're thrown into an occupation for which you are not properly trained or educated, you're just kind of left to mostly figure it out on your own and you get a lot of noise, a lot of static and it's on the job, figure it out yourself. It's going to be stressful, probably going to have a lot of mistakes and there's almost no way that you can keep it from being an emotional experience. But if you're given the right training on the right skills to be good at that job, you're just not going to have psychological issues. You're just going to do your thing Here At Inside Out Trading, I do help you with the purely psychological aspect of it, but I've also learned and found very good results with the approach that if you're trained on the right skills, the right things about trading, and I don't mean just learning somebody's method where you go to a weekend boot camp and drop $10,000 to learn their specific system. I'm talking about the skills of being a trader. The skills of working for yourself, running your own business, starting up and planning your own business. Those kind of skills, the being a trader skills. When you get those down pat, the rest of it really becomes elementary and very fundamental. Because the skills that I'm talking about are those related to being an independent trader. Because trading is a profession, it's a real profession. The failure rate is incredibly high because so many people do not pay it the proper respect. They think that they can just jump into it, learn as they go and just grab a system here and there and that's it, without really focusing on developing themselves and becoming a true professional about it. That's why really, in truth, only about two out of every hundred traders, 2% actually are making it as traders, where they're enjoying the life that everybody dreams about, where they trade, they trade confidently and comfortably and they make money. I've been around a long time. I've been doing this for eight years. I'm not fly by night. I am a trader. Been trading since 2004. Took my lumps at the beginning. I jumped into it. Real naive, totally underestimated. It looked so easy. I got sobered up real fast. But like I said, my background is engineering quality and business consulting.
