A trader explains why having a good strategy isn't enough: you need a system to execute it the same way every time. The difference between the two is what separates consistent profits from random results.
That's a strategy. Or, you know, I'll. I'll identify a trend, I'll wait for a breakout and I let it run a little bit and it'll retrace and then, you know, it'll take off again and I'll get in when it resumes. That's a strategy. Your system is how you're going to execute that strategy consistently. One hundred or five hundred or a thousand times consistently. They're not the same. And it's super important you understand this because there are a whole lot of traders that are really frustrated. Maybe you know what this is like when you get a strategy from somebody and you go to trade it, and it's just plain not that easy to make money with.
