Just because you have a clever strategy doesn't guarantee consistent profits. What does guarantee consistent profits is consistency. And where this is like the big stumbling block for so many traders. I'm the only one I know of that teaches specifically consistency, because that's what that was my life in quality assurance. The foundation of quality is being able to identify best practices, and then you get everybody. Executing consistently according to best practices was perfect for trading. It's why that allowed me to turn things around, because I know how to take an activity in the business world. I had 183 people. I was responsible for seven different departments, four different shifts, all kinds of people, all kinds of activities. And it was my job to take every one of those activities, those jobs, and define them into a process that produced consistent results. Stuff that was executed over and over again. That's why it's so perfect for trading.
