You know, one thing a lot of traders don't pay attention to is the fact that before you're even a trader, you're actually a business investor. You've invested in this business and even though it's, you know, your job, you bought yourself a job, or you created, you know, your own job, you're self employed with it, you're still the investor in the business. And you need to make sure that you're looking at it from that particular perspective, because that's exactly what's going on. And if that investment is taking too long to produce, or it's turning out to not be a great investment, you might want to stop and explore your options. See if maybe you need to choose a different strategy with what you're doing, or possibly even just plain pursue something else. If this isn't something that you love, if you're doing it strictly for the money, well, treat it as an investment and look at it from terms of money. If you're doing it because you love it, then that's a different matter. But still, you're the investor in the business.
