Your trading works like your body: money management is the skeleton, risk management is the immune system, discipline is the muscles, and psychology is the nervous system. Each part has to function for the whole thing to survive.
I heard an analogy a while back that I really like, and it was. It was speaking to business. But trading is the same thing. I mean, trading is a business. And the analogy was. Or the metaphor is that, you know, a business or you're trading. It's kind of like your human body. You know, there are a lot of working parts to it. It's not just your heart or your brain or your lungs or your kidneys. Everything has to be working. And if there's one part of it that's not, you know, you got to have a, you know, decent plan. You got to have your money management, you got to be risk management, you got to have a working system. You have to have the discipline and psychology and the mental aspects of trading. And the thing is, if there's any one part of it that's not working, you're going to be in an unhealthy state. Just like with your body, if your heart's not, you know, you got heart problems, you have lung problems, you have, you know, mental problems like brain function, you're not healthy. And it only takes one. It's not like you have to be broken down entirely. And the same thing is with your trading.
