Thank you for joining me today. It's Brian Gubernick, and welcome to the No Days Off podcast, where we believe that every single day brings a new opportunity to get better. Today is going to be a quick hitter. I've got some questions I want to ask you that I think, uh, if you spend a moment to think around them, you're going to come up with some great answers. And maybe some very clear direction for today, this week, this month. I coach or have the opportunity to coach a lot of people in business. So, I think around how to ask better questions because better questions give you better answers. The stronger the question, the deeper the insight. So, powerful, well-thought-out questions can lead to a more profound understanding, more meaningful answers. So in various contexts, uh, maybe it's in coaching or it's in education or it's in problem solving, strong questions stimulate critical thinking and uncover hidden truths and, and drive effective solutions. So today I want to ask you 5 questions that I've been using really over the past few weeks when I meet with either coaching clients or people that work alongside me or for my team. Just things I like to ask in order to, you know, get a deeper insight. Okay, so I want you to take a moment. If you're driving and listening to this, just process it in your mind. If you are actually sitting down and listening, you might want to write out an answer. Okay, question number 1: Are you happy? Are you happy? If so, how do we maintain this happiness? If not, what do we need to change right now? So, question 1: Are you happy? If so, what do we have to do to maintain this? If not, what do we have to do to change this right now? Question number 2: What did you, what did you do last week that you want to duplicate this week? Pretty simple one. What did you do last week that you want to duplicate this week? What steps do you need to take? Question number 3: If you could redo this month, assuming that we're, you know, when you're listening to this, we're at least a couple weeks into the month. If you could redo this month, what would you do differently? If you could redo this month, what would you do differently? Number 4, shifting gears a little bit here. Can you visualize yourself at peak performance? What does it look like? How is it different from what you're doing now? Can you visualize yourself at peak performance? What does it look like? How is it different from what you're doing now? And number 5, the last set of questions here, number 5. Take a moment and describe in detail what a perfect day looks like. What percentage of an average day looks like that? What changes do you need to make to get closer to the perfect day? So question 5, or set of questions that make up number 5, take a moment, describe in detail what a perfect day looks like for you. Maybe that's in business, in life, maybe it's both. What percentage of an average day looks like that? Looks like that perfect day. What changes do you need to make to get closer to the perfect day? So, 5 big sets of questions for you to answer real quick. Episode, but I want to give you the big 5. I want you to— I want to encourage you to process all 5 of these, see what answers you come up with, and see how it might shape your next day, week, month, whatever it may be. Now, with most everything, if you want to deepen your understanding of these questions and how to leverage them, go teach them or use them with somebody else. So something to think around after you get through working this, working these, these, these 5. Who do you need to go introduce these 5 questions to, or at least 1 or 2 out of the 5? Who should you introduce them to, ask a great question, and ideally get a great response? Response. Remember, the stronger the question you ask, the deeper the insight. The better the question you ask, the better the answer you're going to get. That's all I have for you today, the No Days Off Podcast. Thank you so much for listening, and remember, every single day brings a new opportunity to get better. So let's get after it.
