Q&A

It's just that it's a difficult area to succeed in, and so I was wondering how you got your start and what you've done to make a success from that point onwards.

I have these brokerage accounts at Schwab… Is that what you mean by nonregistered?

Q&A

What other retirement accounts can I use with my wife’s limited net income?

1mo ago
Q&A

i'm afraid not, but my wife has some scheduled C income but generally, it's not much on the net side after deductions… We're pretty aggressive with deducting expenses against income

Q&A

have sep account but haven't contributed to it for a while… If I have schedule E income, but my net income is always a loss based on deductions maybe I can't contribute anything to that account

Thank you — I appreciate the straightforward response. The direct involvement and client-size fit both sound very much like what I’m looking for. On the New Brunswick issue, I’d be interested in understanding what you mean by working through different structures. My preference would be for a fully compliant discretionary portfolio-management relationship rather than having to compromise materially on the service model, so it would be helpful to understand whether there is a legitimate path to that for a New Brunswick resident, or whether the available alternatives would be more limited in scope. If there is a workable route, I’d certainly be open to a conversation. And if the licensing issue ultimately makes the fit impractical, I’d also be very interested in any New Brunswick-licensed portfolio managers or firms you think operate with a similar independent, high-touch model.

Q&A

I’m currently reviewing my investment and wealth-management arrangements and came across Ginsler Wealth while researching independent discretionary portfolio managers. I have approximately $1.34 million in investable assets across non-registered, RRSP and TFSA accounts and live in New Brunswick. Before arranging a broader discussion, I wanted to confirm whether Ginsler Wealth is currently registered to provide its full discretionary portfolio-management and wealth-planning service to New Brunswick residents, and whether a relationship of approximately my size would fall within the firm’s target clientele. Brian’s combination of portfolio-management, family-office and alternative-investment experience was one of the reasons the firm caught my attention. If my situation is a fit, I’d also be interested to know whether Brian would personally lead or be directly involved in a relationship of this size. Thank you,

How would you feel if she were to play footsie with you and knock your penny loper off?

Q&A

What size shoe do you think you wear?

Q&A

Yeah. I was intimidated, though. That was a big ass foot.

Q&A

Dude, I was feeling overwhelmed when I was massaging her foot because her foot was huge.
