This is a YouTube video titled "Dad life hits differently" containing a conversation between two speakers discussing the challenges and experiences of fatherhood, sleep patterns, and lifestyle adjustments. The dialogue reflects a personal and informal context focused on parenting and self-care. There is no indication that Brian Moncada is one of the speakers.
What's the biggest thing that you're focused on right now?
Being the best father and husband I can ever be.
Your father. No.
Yeah.
Yeah.
How's that? One month. As of today, she's one month old. It's been. It's been amazing, dude. She's like, I told you when we were coming up the elevator to do this, I'm running on four hours of sleep, but actually I feel like I'm fine. You know, like, it's funny, you think, you know, optimizers, eight hours. Oura ring, know, like blue light blocking glasses, all those things. And then you have a kid and you're like, oh, she's crying, gotta help, gotta hold her, take care of her. And four hours of sleep later, like, you're good. Were you, Were.
You eight hours before that?
Oh, yeah. I was like, I can't function without eight hours. I would tell myself that, and I. And I would need to be in a deep sleep and I have to have the room dark and cold. And I still do all those things, obviously. I still, I still wear the blue eye glasses, but I'm also running on four hours of sleep. And I'm like, I can do a lot more, actually. I have a lot more capacity.
I like to say that I get eight. I like to think that I get in, but it's really probably like six or seven on average.
Good sleep. Yeah, exactly. I even stopped wearing the aura ring too. Because I think I heard Logan say this back when we first met too. He was like, I don't need a ring to tell me how to sleep. And I was like, I think that's kind of true. Maybe I'm doing too much sometimes.
