I went through this myself. Like, when I, uh, had the burnout and I did a few things, I started to feel stuff. It was just like mind-bogglingly— it was so intense. Like, I, I lost my edges. Yeah. Like, my actual sense of being a separate person was, was completely dissolved in the intensity of the emotional stuff that was going on. Um, and I had— I was fortunate that I had the academic training, so I understood Conceptually, like a model for what was probably going on. A model. And I'd done, uh, personal development work enough to know that I am not my thoughts and I am not my feelings. So no matter how insane the thoughts got, and they got very insane, and no matter how intense the feelings got, it felt like it was— they were going to stop my heart sometimes.
