Yeah. Okay, so today's video is the 8-week Mindful Self-Compassion course. So the video I posted the other day was the 8-week Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction course. This is the second 8-week program that I teach. So I teach 2, one on Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction and the other one on Mindful Self-Compassion, and this video is about Mindful Self-Compassion. So they're both completely different courses I would definitely recommend do the MBSR first and then 6 months or so later, you might like to do this. Some people have done them back to back and it's a wee bit too much. On this one, there is 24 different meditations and it's all about kindness for ourselves. Now, the research shows that 70% of people are nicer to others than they are to themselves, which, you know, is quite serious if we want to love our neighbors as ourselves and we haven't learned how to love ourselves. Yeah. We really can't love other people. So this is a really profound program that will take you on a journey to help you to be kinder to yourself. It is a big commitment. It's 3 hours a week for 8 weeks. There is home practice and there is a day retreat included as well. It's a fantastic course. You will receive this book. Now, if you want, you can just go onto Amazon and buy this book yourself. But it is nice to go through it on a journey with other people and go through all the different steps and all the different stages and have a discussion as well, because it does help us integrate it and help us learn. And we feel supported and we know that we're not alone when we're doing it in a small group. So this book is from Christian Neff and Chris Germer. Both of these guys I have met, both of these guys I've trained with. I trained with Christian Neff on a course Wales, and I trained with Christopher Germer in 2015 when he was here in Ireland. I did a week's course with him. So the course itself is based on their books. Kristen's book is The Mindful Path to Self-Compassion, and Kristen's is Self-Compassion: Stop Beating Yourself Up and Leave Insecurity Behind. So, you know, I always say that mindfulness gives you confidence, and actually being kind to yourself also does that as well. So So it's a wonderful, wonderful course. The people who've done it, you know, and I think especially if you have some mindfulness experience, it kind of heats up your mindfulness and makes it warmer. At the end of the course, you get a little bracelet. Wow. And every time you do something kind to yourself, you can flip it. So if that's an incentive for you, again, I will be offering this course twice a year. I think I'm the only person in Northern Ireland who's actually qualified to teach this course. Some people now are starting to say that they do some self-compassion practices, which is great. We need more self-compassion. But I have actually studied with the Centre for Mindful Self-Compassion, and I am qualified to teach the 8-week course. And I would love you to join me and learn how to be a bit kinder. I will at some point when I get a chance, make a nice video about some self-compassion practices. I have got one if you want to check out my YouTube channel or my Instagram, you will see I've done a self-compassion break, a little video on that. And just to tell you that this course, the next one starts on the 21st of January. Please come and join me and I'll see you then. Thanks a lot. Bye.
