In this informal livestream titled "Gardening with Jason," host Jason walks viewers through an easy Easter-themed plant transfer using a small decorative plant purchased from Walmart or Dollar Tree. Filmed in the evening in Boulder, Colorado, Jason demonstrates how to repot the plant by adding soil in measured scoops, discussing depth and amount, and handling the plant gently. Throughout the tutorial he engages with a co‑host (Speaker B) and the live chat, encouraging viewers to comment on their locations. The conversation frequently drifts into personal territory, with Jason mentioning the legality of marijuana in Boulder, his own life struggles, and casual remarks about medication. The overall tone is relaxed, conversational, and slightly self‑deprecating, aiming to make a simple DIY gardening task feel approachable while also providing a glimpse into Jason’s personality and lifestyle.

Hey everybody, welcome back to Gardening with Jason. I'm Jason. So we are back again. We're going to do an easy, um, Easter, uh, transfer of this plant that I got at Walmart over into this so it'd be something special for the holidays. It's a beautiful evening here in Boulder, Colorado, and so we'll get started in just a second. So I don't know where everybody else lives. Just say hi, how are you doing? Comment below and everything where you're from. Here in Boulder, it's okay to smoke marijuana, so we're gonna go ahead and just light up because it's okay to do it. Hey, so sometimes you just need some— some people, you know, want a glass of wine, some people, you know, need this. And I've been through a lot in my life, so I need this. And so what we're going to start off today with is we're going to start off with this beautiful, beautiful plant. Got some beautiful yellows, whites, pinks in there. It's just a small plant, it's in a planter here. And then you can get these at Walmart or the Dollar Tree. I like these because it's see-through. Um, hey Jackson, hey, how you doing buddy? Um, yeah, I made that. That is a painting of an Indian that is original. I put it on my clothing, so thank you for that comment. So, um, you can get one of these, it's about a dollar, Dollar Tree. You can get this at Walmart, probably about $4 or $5. So you're going to take a small scoop of soil, about, about that much, if you can see that on camera. There we go. And you're just going to top the bottom off. So I, I didn't mean to put— I meant to put more than that.
Oh my God, so fast, it's so fun! I'm always doing silly stuff like that.
The other day I dropped it and just ruined the whole plan. I already spent $20 on it, so you know, sometimes you just, you never know, you know? Hold on. So anyways, you know, you never, you never know, you never know what's going to happen when you do this. But anyway, seriously guys, let's get back to So you're going to go ahead, you're going to go ahead and get back to this. You're going to go ahead and put this a little bit more. We want to go ahead and fill that up. Another scoop.
Oh my God, oh my God, I feel like I've never done this before.
Anyways, so we're going to go ahead and do another. There we go, one more scoop. You want about that much. It's about 3 inches, 12 inches. 18 inches deep, I think.
I don't know, I can't remember. Anyway, so you go ahead and take your plant, you just go ahead and take it out like that. Sometimes you just got to try. And you're going to go ahead, put it in here, and you're going to—
oh God, I wonder if she'll ever know.
Anyway, so hold on one sec, I got to check some more of my medicine.
Oh, you kids can't have enough medicine. Did you go—
go ahead, take another scoop. Oh God, I just dropped my spoon down on the ground. I don't know how I'm going to finish this. Oh my God, I need help.
