In this brief update, Bryan Johnson explains how contracting COVID-19 in November 2022 caused his spirometry‑measured lung biological age to jump from 26 (recorded in 2001) to 46. Recent testing shows a reduction to about 36, indicating some recovery. To further improve lung capacity and address underlying issues, he is trialing a supplement called “lumbar K,” taken twice daily (morning and night). He frames the effort as an ongoing experiment to bring his lung age back down to its pre‑COVID level.
