Bryan Johnson breaks down microplastics in the body: 8 mg per testicle on average, and brain plastic content up 50% in a decade. He tested below 76% of the population and cuts exposure by ditching plastic bottles, filtering water, and switching to glass and ceramic containers.

I know many people who want balls of steel. I don't know anybody who wants balls of plastic. You've probably heard of microplastics. It's a pretty bad situation. The average male has 8 milligrams of plastics in each testicle. And the average brain has over 50% more plastic than it did 10 years ago. There's some good news here. I just completed a microplastics test and my levels were lower than 76% of the population. The things I'm doing are basic. I'm avoiding plastic bottles. I have a water filtration system at my home. I don't warm food in plastic. I remove plastic from my home environment. I use things like ceramics, glass and stainless steel. So you can, in fact, make meaningful changes in your life and lower levels of plastic on a larger scale. If you think about this, my grandpa was full of lead. My parents are full of asbestos. And we, of course, are full of microplastics. But now, because we have a test, we can measure this. We can now start taking affirmative steps to lower our microplastic levels.
