Bryan Johnson explains how microplastics have infiltrated everything from Everest to human breast milk and testicles. Higher BPA exposure reduces egg retrieval in women. His plan: test your baseline microplastic levels, try lifestyle changes like water filters, and share data so we can eventually develop therapies to cleanse the body.

We have all seen the scary headlines that microplastics are everywhere. The top of Everest, the bottom of the ocean, in breast milk, in our testicles. In fact, women that have higher levels of BPA retrieve less eggs than women with lower levels of bpa. So while we know that microplastics are bad, we can now start doing things to lessen them. Now, the first step is to do a test and figure out where your baseline is. Once you have that baseline data, you can begin making lifestyle changes. You can then begin experimenting to say, if you start using a water filter or rem, remove plastic bottles from your diet or from your life, what happens to your levels of microplastics in doing that? As a community, we will have the world's best data sets, and we will start learning how we can remove microplastic levels from our body and maybe even get more advanced and find new therapies, cleanse our bodies entirely.
