I was waking up in the middle of night and having piercing headaches and they were so bad I thought it was Covid and it must have just been this awful thing. I had bilateral jugular vein stenosis. And so one thing that happens is when you don't have good flow from your brain is you can have high intracranial pressure pressure in the skull, which puts pressure on the brain, which is not good for you. I was waking up in the middle of night and having piercing headaches and they were so bad I thought it was Covid and it must have just been this awful thing. I'd run downstairs and do a COVID test and test negative. These piercing headaches were coming from the blockage and the pressure of my brain. Did a bunch of additional MRIs trying to figure out. We also used our ultrasound machine, looking at flow to try to figure out how bad it was, and it was terrible. I began a process looking at how to correct my posture, something I'd never been aware of my entire life. We did a follow up mri. After seven months of doing this, and my white matter hypertensities had lessened by 22 years, the damage that accumulated, it went away.
