Bryan Johnson tracked six months of perfect sleep using a WHOOP wearable, calling it a historic first like breaking the four-minute mile. He argues that demonstrating this benchmark reshapes what's possible and that quality sleep should become a foundational pillar of human life.

I just completed six months of perfect sleep using WHOOP as a wearable. Those who haven't attempted it don't know how hard this is. And sleep is so complicated because the psychological is physical. It's every aspect. And so to achieve this, I think it's interesting, almost like I look at Amelia Earhart crossing the Atlantic or the four minute Mile World Wright brothers taking flight. Once one human demonstrates one accomplishment, you can't unlearn that. And now that you know six months of high quality, predictable sleep is possible, you can't unknow that. And it creates a new standard of expectations within yourself that this thing which determines our conscious existence could be a pillar of all of our lives.
