From 8, 9 until the age 18, this was home base. Many of the most exciting years of my entire life. This was my bedroom right here in the lower right hand side. I would sneak out at night. My best friend, Chad Davis, was still his dad's little truck. And he would drive around the corner and get enough momentum to kill the truck and then roll into this part here. By the time I got in front of the house, it was totally quiet. I didn't think my mom knew anything about this. And the one time she said, you know, Brian, there's like wood clippings where your window's at. If you go in and out of your window. Just be mindful of that. I think it's my mom's way of saying, like, I know you're sneaking out and doing stuff. It's like just kind of be mind about the situation. It was just such a fluid environment. It was never like a big slap on the hand. We were just kids and had like no boundary conditions at all. You could do and be anything in this environment and do it in a community where everyone was just cool with each other. It was such a great place to grow up. I really miss the unhindered ability to just kind of live.
