Bryan Johnson takes over 100 pills daily and tracks hundreds of data points to see what actually works. He measures before-and-after snapshots for each supplement instead of relying on scientific claims alone, filling the gap between what studies say and what happens to his body.

So when people learn that I take over 100 pills a day, some are understandably skeptical. There's two things I think are relevant to understand. First is that no anti aging scientist agrees with another scientist. You can give them the same papers, they can read through, and they come up with different conclusions. That's okay. It's a representation of where the field is at. There's probably more unknowns than there are knowns at this point, and so disagreement is expected. We look at the evidence like everyone else does. We design a protocol, and then we measure data. And so we're trying to close the loop to say, the scientific evidence suggested this. We put this in my body. We generate hundreds of data points so that we can confirm whether the supplement is doing what we intended it to do or not. And so this before and after snapshot really helps us close the loop on evidence.
