Welcome to the PT Profit Podcast.
What's up coach? Thank you so much for pushing play on another episode of the PT Profit Podcast. I'm your host Beverly Simpson and today I'm sharing with you a live that I did on Instagram and inside of my free Facebook group so that I could help you really get clear on the truth about what needs to be in place inside of your business in order to scale beyond the six figure mark. Now, if you're listening to this episode and wondering, yeah, but Beverly, I'm not even at 10k yet, it's still important to listen to because you'll hear because I share a little bit of my journey, what caused me to to create this episode to go live. And it was because these are the things essentially I wish I had in place when I was first starting. Because the truth of the matter is that wherever you are, there you go. So what that means is that a lot of the things that I battled when I was at the 2k mark per month are the same things that I have faced in the 10k, 30k mark, 50k mark. They were the same. And so I was sharing with you in this episode some of the things that I did to work through that and also share with you a little bit about full transparency, about the ways that I have been out of integrity to myself and to you and why that is so, so detrimental and I'm rectifying it. So I talk about this in this episode and so what I'll be talking about is this new free training that I have in place, simple scaling and I'm actually will be live today when this episode goes out. So 12pm Eastern Standard Time. I don't believe I'm going to leave a replay for this. This is an opportunity for you to show up for yourself, to say yes, to ask the questions live and to connect with me. I haven't fully a decision on that, but my gut is telling me to not have a replay. So if you're catching this before I've gone live, then please be sure to swipe up and to register for the training. We go live 12:00pm Eastern Standard Time. So without further ado, let's go ahead and roll that episode and then we can go ahead and dive into the four must have ingredients that every successful health and wellness business already has in their business in order to scale scale beyond six figures. And if you're anything like me, which is a little bit about what the context or what the context is around this business, if you're anything like me, some of the stuff might sound and feel just a little bit familiar. So number one, if you are watching here on my online marketing fitness group, you probably have seen me change the banner for simple selling, simple selling like a million times. And so this is going to lead to point one, which is are you integrity with your word to yourself? And the truth is spelling the tea, I have not been for my for myself in multiple ways in multiple areas. So this is me here coming online sharing with you that I keep changing my word to myself. And the first example is that I kept saying October 10th, it was Gwen's birthday. This was when I was going to do my simple selling live and I was going to do my training and then I pushed it to October 17th. That was the first time I was out of integrity with myself for really good reason. I am so slammed. My days are packed to the brim, okay? And so I had a ton of really good reasons as to why I was not fulfilling on my word to myself. And honestly, it is one of the worst, most detrimental things that you can do as, as a business owner, as a health and wellness coach. It is detrimental and the same for your clients. Right? And I probably don't have to tell you because you're all here and you are super smart and you already know that your brain is yes and in you. So every time you are out of integrity with your word, then your brain says yes and and just reflects that back on to yourself. Okay? So now of course this is a nuanced conversation because this is there is a difference between you being in integrity with your word and being responsible, not taking responsibility. It's different than being responsible and doing what you say that you're going to do and being integrity with your word versus you know, you know, at all cost at the expense of your mental and physical well being. Only you really know where that line is for yourself. And I'll just share for me that for me, I had been out of integrity with my word in my commitment to you. When I say that I'm going to do this free training and then I don't do it, and that is detrimental. So I'm rectifying that right now. So. And. And I'm really glad that it happens because there's always going to be a lesson in every experience. So I'm glad that it happened because for me too, I'm recognizing this in myself. And so I'll encourage you if you haven't looked at this before. Oh, Betty, hi. I haven't seen you in forever. Sorry, I got distracted. Anyway, I'm recognizing this in myself, which is that I am. When I am out of integrity, there's a reason why. And so I was noticing that I just wasn't in alignment. And being in alignment with. With, which is going to lead me to point number two is essential to the success of your business. Whether you're trying to get to the first six or get to multiple six or to seven, eight, whatever, the sky's the limit. Because the truth is that these are principles I'm covering. Principles. The principles remain. No matter what level you are currently at in your business. Principles remain. And so for me, I was recognizing that something just wasn't feeling right. So I kept finding all the reasons as to why it wasn't. Now's not a great time. But for me, I'm recognizing and knowing now, now that things have started to click in for me that this is just me being out of integrity with my word. And I don't do that. It's not good for your. It's not good for your brain. I am getting back into integrity and. And I'm sharing this. Not to put anyone down this. The shame spiral, the spiral of shame. Because Lord knows that I am. I'm queen for doing that to myself. And so I would never do that to anyone here. Not to you, not to. The point of bringing it up is so that we. I can rectify it. It's not about being right. It's about getting back into the results game. That's what we're here to do. So, number one, integrity. And when you are do what you say that you are going to do, it is one of the most powerful things that you can do for yourself, for your health, for your. For your business, for the gamut. Okay, so that's number one. Then number two is going to lead to what I was kind of getting stuck at, which was clarity and specificity. So are you clear? Because in order for you to have this type of clarity for yourself, if you aren't clear, your clients aren't clear. If you aren't clear, you cannot communicate the value. And if that communication is not being, if there's a, there is a disconnect in the translation, then your client who needs your work and needs your services, they're not going to buy because they're not going to think that this is for them. They're not going to think that they need it now. And that is what is required for your business to grow, to sustain, to get to multiple six figures. So in order for that to happen, for your client to be clear, you need to be clear and you need to be clear and specific in one or more of these four areas, which is number one, are you clear and specific on the problems that you solve? Are you clear and specific on who it is you solve these problems for? Now, if you're already sitting here and you're listening and you're feeling like, oh no, I'm in the entertainment or I'm, I, I'm not. My people aren't in, I sell necklaces or whatever and it's not a problem. No, it is there. It's a want. It's a want and a need. And they're not there yet. So there's a reason why there's not. So are you clear on what that is and who this person's for? Are you clear and specific on the unique way and process you deliver? Number four, the clear and specific tangible and intangible outcome. And so a lot of people, especially in the health and wellness space and especially the people that I serve, because we're not here to make gimmicky, quick, you know, quick fix promises or perpetuate harmful messaging to people. However, your people need to know, how will they know when they've achieved this goal? And you will become a laser beam when you are clear and specific and communicate tangible experiences to the intangible. So a way to answer that is how will they know when they've achieved the outcome? So that's number two, when you are clear and specific on one or more of those four areas, problem person, process and outcome results. Okay, all businesses need that. Now one of the things I want to just share with you is that I just went over principles and it's one thing to double tap it like it comments. Oh yeah, I get this. I get this. And it's another thing to know it and it's another thing to operate from it. And it's another thing to, to continue to refine it. Okay. And this is going to take number three, data driven decisions. So people will say this takes time. And it's not about time, it's about the reps and it's about how fast you move through the uncomfortability of feeling like you failed. Because what I have noticed consistently time after time after time, after being with really successful and working with really successful people, it's not that they face anything that you don't face. It's not that they don't, they don't feel those same feelings. They just go through that process and uncomfortability faster, learn the lesson faster, take it less personally faster and know and operate that they get what they focus on. So you get this really powerful choice to decide am I going to focus on the gap, the pain, the struggle that I'm not there yet, I'm doing all the things right, or are you going to focus on my success is inevitable. And I'm just going to tell you real quick and full transparency, like I can feel myself choking up as I share this, is that I was the person I was. I wasn't always that. That person that was like, oh, what's up Weston? I wasn't that person that was like, oh yeah, my success is inevitable. I wasn't at all. I was the person that was constantly focused on the struggle I'm doing on the right day, it's not working. So what do you think happened? I got more of the struggle. Okay. Like attracts like. I started bringing the people that was also focused on the struggle. So this is a lesson I want to share with you and I'm sharing my experience so that you learn it faster than I did. And so then what happened as a action go getter, as a high achieving hustler? Right. I started to and I, and listen, I'm laughing because I'm guilty of this now my friends will tell you now is that I started to throw the baby out with the bathwater. So that's a metaphor, and I know what and I'll explain is that I stopped making data driven decisions and I kept just going up. No, I'm not going to do that. Okay, that doesn't work. So I'm just going to throw that out and then restart over. And this is because my neural pathway in my brain was set to struggle. I was getting what I, you know, oh, I just need to tear everything down and then rebuild it back up. No, no, no. Successful business owners, successful health and wellness business owners get very clear on their process and execute and continue to, to refine the process by making data driven decisions. So this will require you to know what it is that you are. The metrics that matter, measure them and then release the outcome, know that it doesn't mean anything about you. And then continue to refine the process and continue to make data driven decisions. That's what it takes. Okay? So that's number three. And then number four. Lastly, do you have the infrastructure in place in your business for you to be set up to scale? Okay. Because as the coach, as the business owner, doesn't matter what level you're at, there are roles in your company that are being fulfilled at any given time in the growth department, where you are growing the audience and growing the people who are potentially the right fit for you to serve, turning them into prospects where they have entered your store, your, your gym, entered your place, or fulfilling on the operations. And the truth is that most struggling coaches focus on all the wrong things. And I sing this out of love because I've been there. I got it. Me too. You're not alone. Okay. You are not alone in that. Okay. That's why I could laugh about it too, because I know and I can see it. Okay. And because I've experienced it, I have that knowing of I have done. And so people end up focusing on all the wrong things and then remain the bottleneck and remain the bottleneck in the, in their operations. They remain the bottleneck in their leads because they're constantly focusing on chasing new audience and chasing popularity metrics that don't matter instead of the people that are right here in front of you right now and they get bottleneck on the fulfillment side. And it's not your fault. So if that's you, it's not your fault. We are literally here. We literally hear every single day, build on lack and trust. Build no like and trust. Just pose. Add a ton of value and do all these things that, that subconsciously teach us that we need to be popular in order to, in order to generate a successful business, which is not the case. It's just not the case. And there's so many invisible components that are, that are invisible to the, to the, the naked eye. Right? So not just the invisible components of like your quantum leapingness of your knowing that your success is inevitable and knowing that you're that. That you. That, that it's not personal. Right? I'm not talking about that kind of invisible which does matter. I'm talking about invisible visible audience that your people can't see. Right? That your that your your podcast listens, your YouTube video watches or your, you know, your email list versus just your followers. A follower isn't always necessarily an audience member, but if you're constantly programmed to chase those popularity metrics, that's not the same as being profitable. So those are the four main things. And if you want to go deeper on this and you want to learn about this, I'm going to do a free training on this called Simple Scaling and it's going to teach you how to put these things in place. And it's free. Just send me a DM scale so that I know that that's what you want to talk about and that's what you want to opt in. It's free. I'm sure there is a link in the show notes so I'm it's not about me, it's about you. But I just wanted to share I'm feeling better now that I have given you some and I was sharing in my story a little bit earlier that the for the context for this live was because the truth is that I'm now in a place that this has happened a much slower than I wanted and anticipated and part of it is because of number two was mostly because of number one being in integrity with your word and also because of number two which was that that I wanted I wasn't feeling clear and specific and honestly all of it. Three all of it. All of it. This is why infrastructures are now in place. Okay And I'll teach you all the how will talk all about the how inside of the free training. So just make sure you DM me scale. I'll send you that link and that's it for me today. My 2pm client had to cancel unfortunately that's why I was here to able to just set the record straight.
