You're listening to the PT Profit podcast, episode number 336. Today, I'm breaking down four ways you can double your revenue in the next three to six months. Are you ready? Let's get started.
Hi, I'm Beverly Simpson, former fitness manager turned online personal training business owner. And this podcast is where smart fitness professionals, including trainers and clinicians, discover how to increase client performance in movement, package and position their products and services, and get out of their own way so that they can increase their revenue to live a life that they love without sleazy sales. Welcome to the PT Profit Podcast.
What's up, coach? Thank you so much for tuning in to another episode of the PT Profit Podcast. I'm your host, Beverly Simpson, and if this is the first time that you're hanging out with me today, welcome. I'm super pumped that you're here. Today's episode is inspired by two things. Number one, I'm just coming off the heels of a retreat that I went to for one of my mentors, and we were. We met in person. And it's one of my favorite things, which I think I shared in a previous episode, but it is one of my favorite things because it just really gets my mind going. I get super inspired. And I can't remember if I shared this on the private podcast or the public podcast, but at the risk of repeating myself, because it is worth saying it, it's just their opportunity is absolutely surrounding us at all times in any economic environment. Truly, the opportunity is just absolutely astounding, what is possible. And I get super inspired by being in those types of environments now, I won't lie to you, for a long period of time. And it's taken a lot of repetition to really shift my mindset around this, which was that for a while, when I would be in those environments, I would get overwhelmed. And for me, when I say the word overwhelm, it really comes down to three ways of being overwhelmed. Realizing that there's so much to do, there's not enough time to get it all done, or there's so much to do and I don't know where to start, or if I should start, or there's so much to do, and then I'm just never going to be able to do it. And so what I have discovered as you know, running a business, starting and running a business is that the abundant. The. The information and the. And the paths are literally abundant. Like, you could literally do so many different things, and it's really not even about which one's the best One or the right one. It's. It's really about what is the best for you. And that's really what we want to dial in. And so sometimes when I get into those environments, I have to remind myself to just hear information, be discerning, and dismiss what's not meant for me. And that is a skill in itself.
Okay.
Number two. And then the third, the third reason why it is so powerful to me is it could just really get me into activation.
Okay.
And to. To which led me to this other realization, which I heard from another mentor when I was listening to his podcast, is just plain and simple. If you are struggling to generate revenue, given that it is easier now than ever, if you're struggling to. To dive, to really bring in revenue, ultimately it's going to come down to one of these four things which I'm unpacking today. So, and I'm doing. I'm going to do my best to make it as simple as possible so that even if you just dialed in one of these, you would be able to. To double your impact within the next 30 days. Okay, so let's get into it. And we're gonna start number one with your offer stack. Like, just. I know I've talked about this a lot, but if we're gonna just take zoom out for a second. Okay, let's just zoom out. Take a deep breath. If this is the first. If you feel like I've heard this so many times, listen, I get that. I hear you and I want to invite you to hear this in a different way. If you're struggling, if you're struggling and you. And you want cash and you need cash revenue today. Like, let's zoom out and let's. And I actually, I wrote this email yesterday about how the industry is broken, and I have been getting so many emails back, which is interesting because I send it on a Saturday, and I usually don't send emails on a Saturday. But again, I'll tell you why I've started because I really, you know, it comes down to point number, to point number three, maybe two. I haven't decided. I've written them all down here next to me, and I haven't decided what order I want to go in. But honestly. So I sent this email about how the industry is broken. And one of the things I said was that, you know, the information age is dangerous for two main reasons. Number one is that people have been tricked into believing that they. That understanding is the same thing as knowing you could understand how to get a six pack. But that doesn't mean that you are doing the activities from a knowing that this is going to work because you've done it, because you've walked in those, in those steps. It's not the same thing. And then again, people get twisted because they think, oh, Beverly, but I'm not the avatar. I've never danced before and I train dancers. Okay, that's fine. But what I mean though, what the difference is, is that as an expert dancer trainer, you've worked with dancers before to demonstrate your expertise. And then people get twisted even with that because they think, oh, but I want to. This is my day one. Then you just lead with honesty. I've never done this before and I'm looking for a handful of people who are willing to be my beta tester so that you can then deepen your sense of expertise, which will be rooted in your deeper purpose. Okay, as for a different episode, but for today, that is what you know, this is what we want to be thinking about when we are, when we are generating revenue.
Okay?
So the first thing that we want to look at, I said I want to pull back 30, 30,000 foot view. Okay, great. The first thing is that we need to understand fundamentally how business works. All businesses need the three Ps or TLC, traffic leads, clients and customers, people purchase prospects and purchasers.
Okay?
And so I like to start with the end in mind, because when you focus on what will drive clients, meaning your offer, I tend to find that your messaging will come through because 80% of the work is communicating the right offer to the right person at the right time. And so what happens to so many people, I've seen it happen time and time again, is they get stuck in this perpetual cycle of adding value and building no like and trust, which is literally costing them sales. Because if you are not. Because they're spending so much time trying to be liked by the Internet, instead of trying to connect, support, and actually help the people that they are meant to help. And so I get a lot of heat for this because people think, oh, I just need to add value. Well, that assumes that you asking them to say yes to themselves isn't valuable and it's just not true. In fact, I have found that people who are more likely to invest in themselves are more likely to show up. How can you think of any time in your life where you've offered a free training, you've offered free calls, and people have either booked and no showed or they just don't do it? Can you think about your buying behavior like I man I'm laughing and also not laughing. I have. I've had to apologize, but even my own team has sent me, you know, hey, Beverly, I'm working on this. Can you help me with this? And I'm like, yes, I'm definitely going to help you with this. And I am. And one of the questions they ask is, you know, can you go through the course material? And I'm like, oh, okay, sure. I'm definitely going to do that. And I have the best of intentions to do that. And I do, but you better believe I keep putting it on the back. But.
Right.
Or I've had clients, even clients have given me certifications saying, oh, I think this would really help you. And I'd be like, oh, great, thank you so much. And I still haven't done it, and I'm, like, a little bit kicking myself. And it's kind of one of those, like, cringy things to admit. But as human beings, we have to prioritize. There's only so many hours in the day. Our capacity margin is only. Is only so much. So I have to prioritize my hours. So I do it. You do it. So I want to prioritize the people who have. Have identified that this is a problem.
Okay?
Now people say, oh, but, Beverly, you. I, you know, I want to have accessible offers. So do I. And I do have accessible offers. There's over 300 hours of information on this podcast. I have a free Facebook group that, that I provide support in sometimes, but it's not free. It's me, and it's time. I can't get back. It's my team. I invested in them to help me in that. In, in. In the, in those groups. It's my team that is, that is cutting these, these episodes together. So it is. It's not free. It's also years and years of experience, of context, of education. It's not free. And then what usually kills me is it's always the people that are like, oh, I just want to help people. But then they don't want to post content. I'm like, okay, great, let's post one time a day. Oh, I can't post. It's too hard. I don't have time. And all the reasons why they can't post content. Yeah, but you just told me that you want to be accessible, so why. Why do we not have any free options? You know, blink, blink, blank, quiet, quiet, quiet. So, so when I. So I'm not saying at all that, that we don't want to have accessible options. And that we don't want to, to that we're trying to convince people to, to buy a thousand dollar Butterfinger. In fact, I'm not here to convince anybody of anything. I'm here to show up powerfully and be visible and support the people who are meant to be supported and helped by me. And that's only going to happen if I show up. Because people cannot buy from the Internet's best kept secret.
Okay?
So what I like to do in my business and with my coaches and with my, and the people that work with me is we build profitable offer stacks, profitable products. And it's not all high ticket. I saw this one person say, oh, if you have low ticket offers and you're cannibalizing your high ticket offers and I just straight up disagree and think that that is the worst advice that you could give to someone. And we're going to get to. This is why I said, you know, maybe point three or four, but we're going to get to the component. And I understand why he says that.
Okay?
I do. I understand why he says that. Because he's wanting you to focus on the number one recession proof skill that there is which is sales communication.
Okay?
Now I am not of the, the cloth that or of the belief I'll say that having low ticket offers cannibalizes that. I just actually don't think that's true. And the, and the reason why is because if you've ever had something for free or a low ticket offer, you'll pro. You've probably already realized that the effort it takes to sell a low ticket offer is just as much as it takes to the high ticket offer. Because it all comes down to communicating value to the right person at the right time. Like that's just what it is. It all comes down to, that's 80% of it. And when you can really focus on, really focus on the powerful product suite or a profitable product suite is what I call it. It's the offer stack, the ascension into meeting you for the first time. Then you can make these offers so good that they sell themselves that they feel fun to deliver on and they're effortless to sell. That's what we're looking for.
Okay?
So I like to help my clients build free leads or rather build free content or free accessible information that is a demonstration of their expertise which we're going to get to this in a second and then we're going to have their accessible options. So their low ticket options so that they can create, create buying customers a list of buying customers that will then ascend into their higher ticket premium offers.
Okay?
So that's what we're building out. And so once you have that, like that's number one focus, dial in your offers, okay. Make them so good that they sell themselves, then we're going to get into to something. I realized that honestly, if I'm being honest with you, I have not been doing this. And the ego is so interesting because it tricks you into thinking that you are. But then when you really look at the data, at least for me, when I looked at my data, I was like, oh, I'm not doing this as well as I think I could.
Okay?
So if you're sitting here wondering, oh, am I not doing a good job at this? Or is there more room for me to improve? The answer is yes, there is more room for me for you to prove 1000%. Okay. So I'm trying to figure out how best to organize these next three ways. And the reason why is because they work synergistically together.
Okay.
And depending on where you are in your business is going to depend on which one you should prioritize.
Okay.
And should is. I don't like that word. So let me rephrase that word and call it could. Depending on where you are and what you're struggling with is going to depend on what you could prioritize in order to double your revenue. So let's just break it down from the top.
Okay?
So if we look at business from that 30,000 foot view, we've got traffic, we've got leads, we've got customers, people, prospects, purchasers. So if you just woke up every single morning and you went to bed and this question came from one of my mentors. Okay. I did not invent this question, but once I started really focusing in on this, then it really helped me, which was how many leads did you bring into your business today and what can you do tomorrow to bring in more? That's it. Just ask yourself that every single day. This is powerful for three main reasons. Number one, it's going to get you present to how you identify a lead. What is a lead to you? Right. Because traffic is not the same thing as leads right now. Especially with all the short form pieces of content. It is just so easy to get in front of new eyeballs. It's. Let me just say it's easier than ever.
Okay.
To get in front of new eyeballs. Okay, so what do you determine a lead? In my business, I determine a lead if I'm going to use my organic Strategy, the follows and the DMS. How many followers that we get today? How many DMs that came in today? Those are leads to me because they're conversations, okay, that are started. How many people opted into my email list, how many people bought a low ticket offer. And then I'm going to prioritize those leads. Buyers first, email people second. And then, and then DM conversation third. Those are the leads to me. How do you define leads inside of your business? Because somebody seeing your content, an eyeball is not your, is not your customer. And then here's the reality that people, that, that it's hard for people. And when I say this, people get really twisted in their belly. Okay, but, but when we look from like how many clients, like once you decide how many clients you actually need, okay then you might realize that the eyeballs that need to see your stuff are so, are much bigger than you think. So for example, for us, in order to yield 5 to 10 clients per month and honestly I'm trying to get that up to 25 clients per month is what I want to bring into my world. This is what we are finally set up to do in a way that is not going to hurt our profit margin. I need 2 million views on my stuff her month. I need 2000 buyers of my low ticket offer. And if I'm going to do free leads, right, because we'll talk about the lead flow and how. Okay, great. Well then how are we going to increase the lead flow? So if we're going to. Those 2,000 buyers is not the same thing as 2,000 opt ins. So if I need 2,000 opt ins, I probably need 4,000. Or if I need 2,000 buyers, I probably need anywhere from 4 to 6,000 opt. Okay, so that gets scary. People are like, I have 100 people, 200 people. Now this is because I'm in the scaling process, okay. I'm, I'm going to colder leads. So if that, if you start to feel like there's no way I'm never going to get to that 2 million views and you start to feel like, oh my gosh, I can't. That that's, I'm nowhere near that. Don't panic because just like I said that there is a priority level of, of leads that I'm prioritizing, the same thing is true for you, right? If you are an accelerator listening to this and you're in my process and you know that what we do is go to our network, we first and we really, you know, you've, you've got access to audience. No matter what the size is, you have access to audience and two people who want your offer. And when you dial in the communication of offer to person, then the size of your audience is not going to be the number one thing that you're looking at at that time. We're looking for offer confirmation.
Okay?
So if you're listening to this and you're like, there's just no way I'm ever going to do that. Right? I also want to remind you that, that we built our business to 500k per year with 2,2000 followers.
Okay.
Now if we want to get, you know that that's like one of the things that I say all the time. But, but, but. And it's a big but. I use that word, right? That wasn't the size of our audience.
Okay?
Our audience is combined with followers leads. I have followers opt ins. I have triple, fourth. I have triple that amount of people on my, on my email list.
Okay.
So and when I and active, I keep my email list so clean. So clean, right? So because I pay for those email subscribers and email subscribers are going to open your emails 30% even if they're coming into an opt in 20 to 30% of your email subscribers open your email while 3% of your audience sees your content. So for me, I'm going to lean into the people that are actually opening up my emails so. Because they're going to see my stuff. Okay? So all that to say that when I give you these numbers about, you know, traffic and leads, because it's all rooted in the goals, it's just, it's not designed, I'm not sharing that in, in an effort to A, overwhelm you and B, make you feel like you're never going to get there. Because it's just these are, I'm sharing with you my numbers so that you can just have some clarity around what it is that I'm focusing on. And then also just kind of to remind you specifically on what you can focus on. Because, because what happens is people do one of two things. They either start or one of three things really they start to like focus on. Okay, well, I need to do visible. They try to go viral and they try to, to reach audiences before they've like really plugged up their back end and got their offers in place and really try to get a consistent cash flow and they really end up accidentally focusing on popularity. And I probably don't have to tell you that that is not what's going to drive a business. You need cash flow.
Okay.
So they focus on all those things out of order. And I also probably don't have to tell you that you can't pay for, for your groceries with likes and views.
Okay?
That's not a business. So then the second thing that happens to people when, when I start to say this is that they maybe they have been trying this for a while and something's just not lifting or their offer is not, not really, you know, working. So then when I start to talk about these big numbers of what it's going to take, it starts to feel like it becomes Mount Everest and that they're never going to get there. But that's not true. If you can generate 5 to 10k per month, you can generate 100k because oftentimes as long as you start a month by the way, because as long as you have that system and structure set up, some of it's going to be a little bit manual up front. But then you can scale it and if you use any of the processes that we teach you how to use, then you can buy, you could actually buy customers that are going to be eventually turning into clients. And I'll walk you through specifically what that means. So that way that you don't have to, you know, post and pray, you don't have to gamble on Facebook ads. There are things that you can actually do that's going to, you know, increase your, your revenue.
Okay.
Monthly revenue. So I'm going to walk you through how that works in a second. But it comes down to how many leads did you bring into your business and what are you going to do tomorrow to get more. And you know, it's Richard Bantler who said the quality of question or the quality of your life is the determined by the quality of questions that you ask. Those are powerful questions. They are action orientated questions. They are not why is this happening to me questions. They are not wallowing questions that get you focused on the, the problems instead of the, the possibility. And what really is mind bending for me personally is that as a high achiever it is, it is ingrained in my brain to focus on problems and it is and to, and to focus on the struggle. I almost have worn this struggle like a badge of honor. And the reason why this has been, this has been problematic in my business is because it's often at the expense of celebrating all of the good progress that is there, which is just never, which is leads to this life of never feeling satisfied. And that is, I'm not here for that. That's not the point of this business. That's not the point of creating and, and, and doing this work. So I have to really actively rewire that. And I'm willing to bet that the other higher achievers out here listening to this might feel similar or the same. Okay, and then, and I also want to give you a word of caution that asking that question is not like shiny objects syndrome. It's not like, oh my gosh, I got a blah, blah, blah, do all this stuff, right? I need to go do this and go do that. I got to get that blah, blah, blah. No, you don't. You don't know your numbers and dial in your focus and efficiency on building your offer stack and then bringing people into the process. So let's talk about how. What are the things that we can do to manage lead flow? Well, first you're, you need to determine what is a lead for you.
Okay.
And then what is the priority of, of connecting with that lead? Because if you are newer or you are really using, you know, the accelerator system and you are thinking about the, you know, where can I, where can I demons, you know, get my most. Where can I get, you know, quick cash infusion? That is, there's going to be a hierarchy and priority of leads, and you might not need quite as much minute.
Okay.
So it really just comes down to where you are. That's why that was the disclaimer that I gave when I ran, when I started this podcast episode. So I just want to reiterate that. So then the other thing that you can do. Okay, so then how can we increase our lead flow? Well, straight up, you got manual effort. Like just can you hit, hit, hit the ground, like knock on doors, pound pavement, go for manual effort. Because here's the thing, we're in this world of automation of like, oh, everything needs to be automated, blah, blah, blah, we need to get more efficient. And I'm all for that. And I know that what separates people from robots, aside from the fact that they're people, is that your clients want connection. So if there is something that doesn't take a lot of time from you, how can you reach out and connect with a human, human to human, to demonstrate that you are the right fit for them? So let me give you some tangible examples. So one of the things that I do in my business because I want to prioritize my time, is I really dive into connecting with my clients. Like I, I want to get, I'm in the trenches with my clients. I'm looking at things, I'm Reviewing things. I watch their webinars.
Right.
Because this is also part of what I said yesterday is that the, the information industry is awesome. Everyone wants to tell us how to do it, but then when we go and do it, we have no feedback. There's no feedback loop. You can implement something, but you put lipstick on a pig, it's still a pig.
Okay?
And so you. You need to have feedback in order to improve the skill. Because something I always say is that practice does not make progress. Practice does not make perfect. Right. Practice makes permanent. So what are you practicing? And so I think it's powerful to have feedback too.
1.
So sometimes just having that. That. So. So that's primarily where my focus is.
Okay.
So when I have my lead profit planner, who is, who is connecting with potential clients who are interested, it's not me on the phone. Not all the time. Sometimes I do them, but not all. It's not me as I'm getting to scale.
Okay.
So. But it doesn't mean that I'm not present to what's happening. So when I'm every single day in a meeting going through this conversation, this conversation, this conversation, I can say, all right, so I understand this question. I can probably answer this a little bit more fully. Let me go reach out to that person. And so I will DM and I'll send them a voicemail. Hey, I was reviewing this call, this conversation that you had with my lead profit planner. I think I can offer some insight here. Want to hop on a quick call or can we break it down here? Okay, that doesn't take much time for me. I can be sitting watching Bluey with my kids and then, and then do that voicemail which I have before.
Okay.
So does that mean that I'm always. No, I'm focusing. Right. I'm discerning.
Okay.
But what I'm saying is that I want to. To offer to you that not everything has to be automated. Not everything has to be a robot. And the people that when you connect person to person, it's going to separate you from the majority of people who don't do that. It's always interesting to me how people say, I, I don't want to. I got into this business to help people, but then want to automate everything and not talk to a human. Like, we're not here to turn your computer into an atm. We are here to connect with people and help them. Like, help them. What's that going to take? Okay, so then the second thing that we need to look at is a thing that we can do to increase your lead flow is just attract free leads. So what I like to do in my business, okay, just so you know, because the first thing, the next thing that we're going to do is, is attract by customers. Now a customer is not the same thing as a client, at least not in my world.
Okay.
So a customer is someone who has purchased my low ticket offer. They are a buying customer and then I want to ascend them into being a client. Okay, so now here's something. Okay, so and, and when you attract free leads, right. The reason why I want buying customers. Sorry, I'm telling you three things at once. So let me get focused. The reason I like buying customers, number one, is it offsets or covers your ad spend. Because once you get into this galing process, your manual efforts of, you know, of, of getting in front of people, whether you are, you know, comment, knocking on their door by commenting on their stuff or you're knocking on their door by your network and you're collaborating and you're. There's only going to be so much you can do in order to increase your visibility into that capacity. There's only going to be so much that you can do within your time that's allotted. And in fact I'm a huge proponent proponent that if you use paid advertising, it's actually cheaper than your manual efforts because time you can't get back and paid leads are going when you do them right, you can for less than a cent get visibility. And the eyeballs that you need to answer those questions of how many leads that I bring into my business and how, what am I going to do to get more, not double it, but maybe just more. Okay, and so and so and then that's how I can get my time back is that I'm using ads. Okay, now well, the thing is, is that I don't want people gambling on ads. I've done that and it's not been good. I want you to be able to have your ad spend covered not within like oh well, you know, they came in. And then in seven days I'm going to do a webinar. No, no, I want your ads covered on day one. You put a dollar in on day one, you get a dollar back. Because then you can build this pressure free sales system that takes what it takes until it takes. And then going back to what I said earlier, just to close that loop of like, okay, that when you have buying leads and you don't have that pressure of I need to make money or else I die Feeling then you don't need to have high pressure sales system. You can, you can let it take what it takes until it takes and then keep continuing to ref your skill. So to me it takes pressure off. So why wouldn't you do it? Now one of the downsides of having buying customers, especially at the beginning when you're starting, is that they're a, they're more expensive oftentimes to, to buy. It's more expensive to buy a customer than it is to attract a free lead. And sometimes you need the volume to just practice. So one of the things that we do inside of my business, two things is that we have a direct to buy funnel and then we have a, a opt in for free and then a chance to have a vip. So we have a low ticket ask so that you can offset ad spend right from the start.
Okay?
So we are still always priority number one by your customers. And then what we do is. And, and that's how we increase lead flow. Like, and that's what we're doing every single day.
Okay.
And then so now the second way that you. Or third way, excuse me, that you can double your revenue. Honestly, this is what I was starting to say, but I actually, hopefully that got cut out. But the, the next thing is increasing your nurture. You have spent so much time and money and effort and resource to bring in this lead. Nurture the lead. Now people get this twisted. So I want to unpack. What does nurturing a lead mean? This doesn't mean give all your best stuff away for free, Let people stand in your restaurant and then until. And so that they don't buy without buying. Right? This is not like letting them pick your brain. This is not letting you. Like let me tell you, show you it, or let me tell you and explain to you why I'm an expert. That is not what nurturing means. Because it assumes that people don't think that saying yes to themselves and investing in their health and wellness or their business or whatever is valuable to them. And that's not true. It's just plain and simply not true. In fact, this is another reason why we prioritize buying customers. Because they are more likely to show up to do the work. And so what I mean when I'm talking about nurturing, okay, all of your people are operating from mistakes and misconceptions to solve problems that they might not even know that they're in. What does that mean? They think that they're in a problem and either they're doing all the right, the wrong Things to try and solve it or they don't even know what the real problem is. So I'll give you an example. I have a headache. Okay, maybe and then they're assuming that they're dehydrated, but maybe it's because they have a concussion because they fell in Grand Central running to the tree. Not speaking from experience or anything. I may or may not be speaking from experience anyway. So that's what I mean. Okay, so, so when you are writing, creating content to, to shift their perspective, to demonstrate your authority, not just tell them, okay, when you can actually give them results in advance, meaning try this and then you create a gap for doing the next thing. Then, then you are going to double your revenue. Okay, so how do we do this? And something that is mind blowing to me, okay, and this is a little bit of what inspired my, my episode today was just, just that if you are struggling then, then there is opportunity here for you to implement, improve on the nurture and selling process. We're going to also talk about sales next. There's. There is so much room for you to just improve on the next few things. Like if you can improve on those two things, then you are likely to double your revenue. Just plain and simple.
Okay.
And what I realized with increasing my nurture, I realized that there are so many areas nurture and sales. Actually, as someone who loves sales, I love sales. And I realized, oh, there is a huge area of opportunity here for me to improve on this. And, and this is not to, to punish myself and feel like, oh man, no, I'm never going to do that. No, because I'm not getting into that vicious cycle. But it's more like, oh, wow, I can't believe how much more room and opportunity there is for me to increase my income. Therefore, there's absolute, absolutely no reason why any of us should be struggling right now. And sometimes it means and requires that we need to take a closer look at our offers. Like if it's really extra hard, maybe we need to look at some things that we haven't been looking at. Like for me, I made a couple of changes on my offer and it all of a sudden started going back to converting like hotcakes.
Okay.
So sometimes it's not what we think it is. This is why support is so important and this is why looking at your data is so important. And more than just making data driven decisions, you need to be able to be discerning in your data so that you know what exactly is happening. It's just so important and so the ways that you can increase your nurture is just manually reaching out. So I talked about this a little bit in terms of the manual effort, but honestly, when you can do the follow up, the power is in the follow up, just like the magic is in the maintenance following up. Do not underestimate, or rather, let me rephrase, it's easy to get, to get trapped into the automation of feeling like you're following up when really there's so much more room for you to follow up with your leads. You've worked so hard to bring them into your company, follow up with them, talk to them. And then the other thing that we can do is content. Like just more content. And, and I don't mean like Gary Vee, okay, where we have to hustle our brains or hustle our heart out, okay, that we have to work harder. But again, there are so many ways. In fact, the next episode, next week I'm going to talk about ways that we can be more efficient and visible. But you know, as a sneak peek, I guess one of the things to really think about is are you carrying the mental load of content creating? Is there a way that you can repurpose your content? And when I say the word content, it can be all different types of content. Your email, the content in your, in your products and offerings. The, the, you know, the just getting, getting, collaborating. There's so many. And then, and then creating content from that. I mean, if you could let it be easy for yourself, like what do my ideal clients need to hear today and how can I let it be easy? That is going to be the most powerful thing, one of the most powerful things that you can do to increase nurture, where you are shifting perspective, where you are providing results in advance and then making a case for the next steps and straight up just asking more than you are asking, I am willing to bet. And now the fourth and most important skill that is underrated, it is the number one. You want to recession proof your business. This is what you do, is improve your ability to sell. And there is so many, many, many, many, many, many feelings around selling. It comes from money stuff, it comes from money stories. It comes from, from experience. Like there's just so many feelings around selling.
Okay.
And I want to just number one, honor them and acknowledge it.
Okay.
And then number two, I want to remind and there are reasons you feel the way that you do about it. Okay, let's just. I know that. So then number two, I want to share and talk about how you can number and, and, and there's so many people out there that are, that are teaching the most. I've seen the sales scripts, like they're just atrocious in terms of how we sell and how we hard sell. And I mean I have been in the game of selling for, I mean I can't, I mean since 2009. Okay. I have learned and I have read, I have studied. I have so much experience in selling and I have been part of the, you know, I have been called a Suzy seller. I have, I have experienced it myself and I have been, I accused of doing it.
Okay.
And so, and I love selling and, and experience is a double edged sword.
Okay.
So, so I know why you feel this way. And if you cannot communicate your offerings to people, then you're not going to be able to to then, then you're not going to be coaching for very long. Okay. So some things I want to share about this because a lot of people say, well, delegate your weaknesses and, and, and you know, hire a sales team. As somebody who's coached a lot of sales teams, I. What I want to offer to you is that no one's going to be able to communicate your offer as well as you, number one. And then number two, having a sales teams requires you to lead a sales team. If you cannot coach a sales team, if you cannot help a sales team, if you cannot lead by demonstration and lead by experience, then you're going to likely struggle. And is it possible? Sure. Will it take thousands upon thousands of dollars? Yes. And I say this because you'll have to delegate the sales development. You'll have to delegate the actual sales associate and then, and then that will cost you and then you will be able to take over. So you will have to keep paying for it. And something I want to say is I have spoken to many, many and I've been on the sales teams of many associates and there's so many things that happen behind the scenes that cause people to, that cause people to, to feel like it's selling and there's reasons why they're not. They're not. And there's reasons why that sleazy sales tactics happen. So I'm going to give you an example, okay? And I'm not going to share with you who the company is because likely you know who this person is. I'll say that. Okay, But I was talking to an associate who said that this company would lock the doors to the building with you inside, which is illegal. Okay, but you would come into the building and, and they would lock it and you Couldn't leave until you made a sale that day. I can. I mean, I'm laughing because I, it's not appropriate. I'm laughing because otherwise I would cry and I laugh when things are awkward and uncomfortable, just so you know. But that's absurd. So of course you know. Well, aside from it being straight up illegal, it's also absurd. And I'm sharing you these types of stories because we all think that we are sleazy when, when we're just inviting someone to say yes to and then we're, we are communicating through resistance, which is a requirement. Meanwhile, there are people cracked at like locking their employees in building. So the skill of selling is the number one recession proof skill that there is on the planet. And you cannot throw money at a problem and assume that it's going to get fixed. Okay. That's not the same thing as acquiring the skill and then delegating the scale when to someone who can do it better. Okay. I just think that you need to be able to lead the team that you're going to bring into your space. And so learning how to double down on your skills of communicating the value of your offer, that's what you're doing. And then learning how to communicate through resistance so that you can address it in a way that makes your client feel safe and makes your client feel empowered and gives your in, gives the environment for you to hold the space for all the feelings that are happening when it comes to communicating through resistance.
Okay.
That's what we're doing. And when you can improve that with the, the doubling down of your lead flow, doubling down of your audience doubling down of, of of improving the conversion rates for the leads that you already have, then you are, then you're going to crush and you'll double, you'll double your income. I guarantee it. Just with the, the increase of effort. Now the idea with this process is not to double your effort, double your, double your, your outcomes. The idea is that we just incrementally improve your effort to 4-6x return on, on time investment. That's what we're looking for. Now when you're first building this out, it can sometimes feel like the effort is, is way more than the return. But the effort will have a compounding effect because you will get more efficient, you will get better, you will get the reps in and it will become easier, but the work will, will stay the same. The work will be boring. It'll become boring, which will be a good thing. And you'll feel like, oh, I can do this.
Okay.
But when you can make the inspired work, be fun, be something that you like to do, but still it needs to get done, the better off you're going to be and you're likely going to double your revenue. Now if you need help with this, okay, I'm actually. Oh, this is exactly what we're going to be doing inside of the profit booster. So I am going to be holding a four week live workshop where I'm going to help you actually implement curriculum to help you double your revenue with the leads and network that you all ready have. And we are going to be honing in on how we can communicate our offers to the right person at the right time. I'm going to walk you through how I and people I've worked with have closed $40,000 in revenue with 15 minute calls. And I'm going to walk you through that process, how we're going to do that. I'm going to help you double your revenue. It's going to be a 30 day implementation process where we're going to actually workshop it. So it's not just information, it's going to have an implementation component so that we're going to be starting that on May 14th. And so it enrollment is going to be now open through Thursday the 9th is what I think I said. Let me just pull up my calendar. Enrollment is now open through Thursday the 9th and I will be doing.
