What's up, coach? Thank you so much for joining me for another episode of the PT Profit Podcast. I'm your host, Beverly Simpson, and if this is the first time you're hanging out with me, thank you so much for pushing Play today. I am super pumped to get this episode out to you. This is actually the second time that I've recorded it. It feels like super late right now. It's actually 7:30 on Friday. The kids have gone to sleep and I feel like, oh, it's late night here as I'm recording this episode. But really, people are just getting started. It makes me laugh when I start to think about it. Okay, so without further ado, let's just go ahead and dive into this episode. I have, and also in truth, that speaking of full transparency, I have put this on this on the podcast episode list for weeks now. And I keep pushing it back because I get inspired and I want to put this on. And it's been on the podcast schedule for weeks. So much so that I went to sit down and record it and I was like, wait, what does the P stand for? And I had to go back into my notes because I recorded this. I wrote this framework weeks ago and I came up with an alternative idea for the P. So maybe VIP is vip, like double P. Who knows? So we're just going to be breaking down this framework today because the truth of the matter, the number one ingredient for any successful business, and I'm going to say health and wellness business, but it's to have a VIP component. And so let me break down what that means. So V stands for visible. No one can purchase from your business. If you are the Internet's best kept secret, you have to be visible. And now it's really important that I'm talking about this because recently I've been getting a lot of slack for the posts that I've been putting about. Just post every day is not a business strategy. I, you know, you don't, you know, building no like and trust. And that's, that's not what people think it is. And there's something else. I said, oh, adding your vulnerable stories. And I've been getting a lot of hate on that and, and I have for a while because it's, you know, it's my message, it's what I stand for. And I get it. I understand that I'm a, I'm not for everyone and B, I'm going against the grain on a lot of things that people really, you know, live and die by. And so I can handle it. I can take it in. However, I also want to say there is a caveat. Like when I'm, when I'm standing here saying this message and I'm saying, just post every day is not a business strategy. I stand by it. But that doesn't mean you don't need to post. I'm not saying, oh, I'm going to create a sales page and then turn my computer. I'm going to, I'm going to decide to start a, I'm going to decide to start a business and put a buy button on my website and then turn my computer into an atm. No, that's not what this means and that's not how this works. And sometimes when I say that too, I'll say, you know, I'll, I'll hear from a lot of people like, well, you said I don't need to post every day. And I said, no, that's not what I said. I said just post every day is not a strategy. That doesn't mean necessarily that, hey, you don't have to, that you have to post every day or you have to post three, three to five times a day. No, it's not really about the number of times. It's more about, does your business have the visibility that you want and need in order to get to the level that you want? If you're cruising and happ and, and you're, and your audience is used to you showing up one time a week and then you show up and you do a live and then they're there for you and you're at the business sales that you want and things are steady in both your growth and you're moving the dial 1% every week, then, hey, you know, hats off to you that that's the dream. But when people are just starting out, that's often not the case. And that doesn't mean, by the way, that you need to run yourself into the ground. No, no, no, that's not what I'm saying. I'm just saying that when I am saying don't just post every day is not a business strategy doesn't mean that you don't need to be visible. This game is not about what is the least amount of work I can do in order to, you know, ref, you know, stop being judged or not get judged and still make a ton of money, right? That, that's not. This is not a get rich quick scheme. That's not what this is about. This is about having your strategy, having your system and having the support in place to both help you bust through blind spots, see the blind spots, help you build out the strategy and then reflect back to you some things you haven't considered in order to fulfill your highest purpose, what you really want. Because whatever you want is destined for you, right? You hear people say what is desired by you is destined for you. And I'm just, I've really thought a lot about that and I'm just a firm believer no matter what it is you think or believe in, it's not about that. But it's about the fact that if there is a desire in your heart, it is placed there for a reason. Because I was thinking about it and I was talking to one of my friends and she's a writer and she's an incredible writer. I have a couple of incredible writer friends. But this writer friend is brand new. She was to teach her for years a principal. She is brand new. She's always wanted to write. She's an incredible writer. But she's. This is her first time that she's like sticking her toe into the water and considering it. And I have absolutely zero inclination to write. I mean I write all the time for a living. I write copy. It's different. But I write all the time. But not in. Not in the same way. I have 0000 desire to, you know, write a book. And, and let me rephrase.000 desire to write a novel, a a a fantasy, fiction or a fiction book and write a story. I am zero desire. And there, no matter how many, how much tricky language is set upon me, I will never be pers. Persuaded or convinced to. To write a book. And that's on purpose. I don't say I don't want to be a professional hula Hooper. I don't want to be a professional pole dancer. I don't want to be a competent competing pole dancer, competing powerlifter. I don't want to be on any of those things. And that's not to criticize. By the way, I'm on all four. Those, those I, those, those examples came to my mind because I've worked and spent, spoke to people closely who have those desires and I have the utmost respect for them. I will help them grow their vision and their dream. But it is just another reiteration of example of that the desires put in your heart are the ones that you are meant to do. So if you're concerned at all that there's not enough for you, or maybe you shouldn't be doing this, this happens a lot to people, right? That's just simply not true. That's fear. It's your ego trying to keep you safe. That's your, that's brain based. It's simply not true. And so what happens is when their fear is showing up, they're worried about judged feeling like they're not good enough feeling imposter syndrome is that they'll be drawn to the messages that say things like just post every day. It's not a business strategy. Because then they think, oh, I can do the least amount of work so that no one judges me. And then I'll turn my computer and my business into an atm. And I'm sorry friends, that's just not the case. No one wants to purchase from. No one can purchase from a company or business that they've never heard of. You still need to be visible. That's going to lead me to the eye. In this framework, I means influential. This is what I mean when I'm talking about content. Your content is your legacy. Your content has the power to carry people through a voice. Very incredible. Customer journey. When I talk about the customer journey, I'm talking about the experience that someone goes from never hearing about you before to raising their hand and going, oh, I'm a prospect and I'm interested in what you have to say into becoming an actual customer. And the journey and the speed of that journey truly is dependent on the person and skill acquisition. Sometimes I've been doing this for so long and I look out into the space and I really start to clinically ask myself, like, why does it take some people longer than it takes others? Because if information is abundant, which we hear all the time, why does it seem that success is reserved for the few and only a few seem to rise above it? What is it that they have that it might feel like you don't? And the truth of the matter is nothing. People will say, oh, it's the X factor, which is just another way of saying it's this inexplainable reason, and that's just not true. I mean, think about it. How do you quantify or know what the X factor is? And how do you know if you have it? To me, when I hear X Factor, it just sounds like the invisible. And we'll talk about the invisible and how I define the X factor. And it's. I don't even call it the X factor. I call it more your energetic imprint, Your frequency, your vibration and where your attention is. That's what makes people magnetic. And we're going to talk about that in the second P, the second version of the P that I was talking about. But X factor, what does that even mean? How do you know what that is? And maybe you even feel that way when you hear me say the word energetic imprint. But we'll talk about what I mean by that. So influence. You need to have influence. And I usually say persuasion and influence. And I'm not here to convince anyone of anything. I'm not here to convince or manipulate. That's not what I mean when I say the word persuasion. Persuasion is about shifting perspective to help people see a different option to end their suffering. That's what a perspective shift is. That's what we're working to do. I'm not trying to convince anybody to get a hula hoop in reference to the metaphor I used earlier. I'm not here to convince anybody to try and be a writer when they don't want to be a writer, when it's not in their heart to be a writer. That's not what I'm here to do. And sometimes I. Sometimes even in the coaching industry and of the hundreds and of the dozens of coaches that I've worked with in my life, sometimes, and myself included, listen, I'm just going to go ahead and throw myself into this bucket. I've done this myself in terms of. In terms of wanting my way to be the only way, to be the right way, to be the best way, and that everyone should do it. And that's just not true. All, all that means is, oh, that's a proven process that, you know, works for you, and that's great, but that doesn't take into consideration the needs and the desires of the actual cl. This is why, you know, in the health and wellness space, there is so many diets that work. Every diet that has a, has a success story. Every program has a. Has a success story. It's not even necessarily about the right. The best one. It's about what's going to work best for you. That's going to help you stay consistent. So I'm not here to convince, I'm not here to manipulate. That's not the point when it comes to influence and persuasion. It's to help shift perspective, to help people get to the desire island that they want to get to faster. That is what a coach can do. A coach can facilitate that, that support system can help identify the blind spots and facilitate breakthroughs faster. That's what we are after. But the truth of the matter is that all of the answers lie within you. Half the time a coach is there to help support you and to help build the confidence in yourself to make the decision. Because that's why being a CEO, a business owner is, is literally making decision after decision after decision. And there's just never going to be a time when you are going to know for certain if something is going to work or not. But we're all under operate under this illusion of safety. And when I say this illusion I mean that you know, people, people have these corporate jobs and they're like I can't leave the corporate job because then I'm going to lose my income. And listen, I get that and I'm not saying this is not financial advice, this is for educational purposes. And I'm not saying burn the boat. Some people do really well with burn the boats. But I'm a counterphobic six for my enneagrammers out there and I am not someone who burns the boats. I need to mitigate risk. Mitigating risk is really important for me. I need to be able to see it from all angles. But sometimes we get trapped in these thought feeling loops. And if you're anything like me, sometimes it's hard for me to see the light at the end of the tunnel. And sometimes I need that outside perspective to reflect back to me a what's, what's truly in the desires of my heart that I've shared that I think is impossible. And to be help me see different perspectives and ways of getting there. And you as the coach for your clients, you get to facilitate that those types of breakthroughs for your clients. And so how do you be influential? Well, it's going to come from your content. Your content gets to be your legacy. Your content gets to carry them through a powerful customer journey. The main thing that you want to be thinking about instead of your content is to remember that people, your brain is, this is brain based. Now we're talking about subconscious connection here is that people are looking for a, an authority. And if you hear that word authority, and you start to get twisted and you start to wonder to yourself, am I an authority? And the first thing that I want you to do is just take a deep breath with me. Inhale. I want you to exhale. And I want you to make the decision that you are an authority. Because you are, no matter what level you are, whether you are starting out, you just took your certification, you're studying for your certification. Once you get it, you will be an authority. You will be one step ahead of the person who you want to serve and to help. That's what automatically makes you an authority. You will make you make the decision to be one, operate from being one, and help the person that you are just one step ahead of. Okay, so that's number one. Number two, the brain looks for what's new, revolutionary and unique. And your content, your messaging, your frameworks, this is what's going to set you apart from other people and lead you down this persuasive content experience. And then the last P is the, the last P is profitability. So I had two P's that I was going back and forth and I think they're both important, so we'll call it vipp. But the first P is profitability. Every business needs profitability, period. A six figure business is not the same as a six figure salary, friends. And you can be profitable even at a six figure business. So I don't want you to start thinking you're not profitable. I was profitable the moment I became six figures. It is absolutely possible for you to become profitable. And then the other piece, this is a little bit of what I was talking about in terms earlier when I was talking about influence. But the other P is your personal power. This is the invisible. Maybe this is what they mean when they talk about the X factor, perhaps. But it's not some arbitrary X factor that some people have and other people don't. It's you. Every single person has an X factor. But I think what they're really talking about is have you ever. Let's, let's just think of it like this, right? Have you ever walked into the room and your friend, you go into the room and it's just you and your friend and she is angry and you know it like she's not saying anything, she's just fuming. It's like, feels really tense and you can just tell and you go into the room, or maybe it's your partner, your husband, your wife and you go into the room and you go and you're like, she's mad or they're mad and you don't necessarily even know what's wrong, but you can feel that there is something that is almost. That is like, off, okay? Or have you ever gone into the room and you've been like, sitting down to hang out, and then someone comes up to you, they're like, hi. Hi. Hi. Can I buy you a drink? Can I buy a drink? And they're like, giving off this desperate energy, and you're like, oh, my gosh, hide me from that crazy person. Right? Or been around those people that are. That everyone just seems so magnetized to for some unknown reason. They're literally like, oh, my gosh, there's something about her that is so magical. And they always seem to be like. Or have you ever heard those people that are like, I just am so attracted to the bad boys and they talk about the bad boys or. Or people that just treat me like garbage, right? Or they're like, the popular kid is accidentally popular and doesn't really know why. They just emit this feeling of confidence which comes from competency and a deep love and respect for themselves. This magnetizes you. This pulls people towards you. This connects people to you. And they think, I just want to be around you. It feels just so good to be around you. You want that? And so when you're constantly focused and thinking about the gaps of, this is bad, this is bad. This isn't working. It's never going to work. I can't do it. Why do other people have it? And you're just spinning that thought loop. That is the feeling. That is the frequency and the vibration that you're putting off into the room. And let me ask you, do you want to hang out with the mad partner or the person who's just always happy? Now, that does not mean that we are. That we're trying chase relentless positivity. I don't know why, but for this past week, I have been having a really tough week. In full transparency. I had a really tough week and it was hard, and I had a lot of shifting and things I had to just kind of navigate. And I was never at one point trying to be like, I don't want to feel that. I want to feel that. No, you have to feel it to heal it. Right? I wanted to go through it. I wanted to process it. That's what I'm going after. That is what's just going to bring me closer to myself. Remember who you are. Magnetize yourself. That is what is going to pull the right people towards you. It's this or something better. Okay friends, so just a quick recap. Every business needs a VIP slash like P squared. Okay? Visibility, Influence, Profitability. Personal power. Okay friends, thanks so much for hanging out with me today and I'll catch you on the next episode.
