Let's get started. Hi, I'm Beverly Simpson, former fitness manager turned online personal training business owner. And this podcast is where smart fitness professionals, including trainers and clinicians, discover how to increase client performance in movement, package and position their products and services, and get out of their own way so that they can increase their revenue to live a life that they love without sleazy sales. Welcome to the PT Profit podcast. What's up coach? And welcome to my $9,316 30 day experiment on Instagram. With less than 3,000 followers over the last 30 days, I have been in the trenches of an experiment of how much revenue can I generate within a 30 day container, specifically on Instagram with a low ticket offer starting at 7. I did this alongside a handful of customers who bought my beta program of the get clients on Instagram with low ticket leads. And it has been a really fun experiment with a lot of lessons and insight. And in today's episode I'm going to give you a debrief or breakdown of what happens. So hopefully you're just as excited as I am. And if this is the first time that you're hanging out with me today, welcome. I'm super pumped that you're here. I'm your host, Beverly Simpson. I'm a former district fitness manager for a national gym responsible for running five Manhattan and New Jersey gyms. I left to build two multiple six figure businesses online and now we're here sharing all of the insights that I can with you. Okay, so there are a couple of disclaimers that it's worth just getting out there because I want to be crystal clear that I'm sharing this for educational purposes. I'm sharing this to show you that the actual process is proven. I'm also sharing this with you to remind you that that these are my results and you cannot Compare your day one to someone else's day 100. You also can't compare your day one to someone else's Day one because there's so many other invisible components that are often not shared on Instagram. That's why I'm bringing the tea directly to you. So what I mean is, number one, I have over 10 years experience in selling and I have over 10 years experience inside of this industry. The skill that has been acquired in that time allows me to speed up the process. So if this is the first time you've ever done anything like this. Then you might not be able to go as fast or as quick of a pace as I did. And that's not a bad thing. Number two, this is not about working 12 to 16 hours a day. This is about using efficient work within your capacity and being brutally honest with yourself about where you are in your skill and skill acquisition. While this is not work 16 hours a day, this is also not blank and pretend your computer is going to become an atm. No, this is about really being discerning with data and make discerning data driven decisions. The other caveat that I want to say is we're going about to break down this actual debrief of what happened. I want to also remind you that while it seems like I'm talking a lot of numbers, and I am, I will be diving into a lot of numbers, I also recognize and realize that these are people and that there are people on the other side of these profiles. And any of my clients would tell you that there is no other coach out there that is in the trenches with you like I am. My clients know that if we are in it together, we are helping people and we are making this business profitable. So while it can seem that we're talking about a lot of data, I just want you to know that I am full, fully aware that these are people on the other side of these processes. And when we start diving into business, it's essential that we understand our numbers. This is also part of the reason why we have such a outcome, results driven promise. We're so certain that, that this system is going to work, that we take on all the risk. So our guarantee is a money back guarantee. And the reason why we can do this is because once we get your performance metrics kind of locked in place and know exactly where it is that we're going, the numbers are going to be the guide to tell us. Those are the numbers that you have to hit in order to hit your goal. And the path to get to those numbers, well, that can change. And there's so many different ways to get to Rome. But once you're clear on what these metrics are that you need to hit in order to hit your goal. Those are the metrics. And then the every day becomes what do I need to say? Who needs to hear from me today in order to reach those numbers? Let's go ahead and break down exactly what happened. So this is called a debrief. And this is something that I tell my clients. It doesn't matter if you're a customer, if you're a client, it doesn't matter. You have to get present on what was the map that I set out for myself, what were the actions that I take, what happened? You have to differentiate the difference between what is the actual outcome of what happened, the result, the fact, and then we can start taking a look at well, how did that perform? What is the performance metric? So when I say performance metric, I mean what was your close percentage? What was the percentage or rate of people that opted in or that opened your DMs that whatever those performance metric, you took an action that is fact, an outcome will happen. Ten people DM'd me. Nobody responded back when I DM'd back. That is a result of fact. Now when we look at it from the lens of performance, well, the performance metric was we need to have 20% of those people open up the next message. So that did not happen. So now we have some data to help us see. Okay, well here is a performance metric that we need to improve. So once you know what those performance metrics are, then the target become clear. Now of course there's going to be some variables and outsiders and, and exceptions that prove the rule. So there's always going to be some variation. But today I'm just going to give you an overview look that honestly, if you just tracked these six metrics, your life would change, your business would grow. If you do this process that I'm about to walk you through, everything will change. Because a lot of people set these amazing lofty goals, but then they don't have a strategic map to get to the goal. That's number one. And then number two, what a lot of people then don't do, and my clients will often struggle with this too, is do the debrief, do a breakdown, put pen on paper and actually look at what happened. Now here's why people don't do this. And if that's you, you're not alone. I'm like that too. Because your brain's trying to get as more your brain's trying to be and get as efficient as possible. And so sometimes you think that you're keeping track of these outcomes. You're like, oh, I know what's happening, I know what's happening and blah, blah, blah, blah. And you think that you know because a, you've already done it before and your brain's trying to get more efficient or you are tricking yourself into thinking that you are keeping track of all of the components. But I promise you, you are likely missing something. Put something down on paper, evaluate it, create the map, execute the blueprint, and then evaluate how it went, what went right, what went wrong, what was the breakdown? Where are you at with things? Because I guarantee you there are things that you're not paying attention to that you're missed, that fell through the cracks, especially if you're doing this on your own right now. So look at it. So I really like to map it, plan it, do it, measure it. That's what I teach my clients to do. That's what I want you to do. Okay, so when I say map it out, we need to really. No one goes from New York to LA without GPS with a blindfold on. So we need to do that for you inside of your business. So map out the plan, then we plan it out and then we do it and we measure it. And I'm going to. And today is the breakdown of the measure of the last 30 days. And I'm going to give you a full on behind the scenes look of exactly what happened. And I did this alongside my, my customer. So here's what I did. Okay. I had originally set out a goal to have, okay, let's get 10k followers in the next 30 days. So the first thing that we're going to do is goal setting. And I was like, let's get 10k followers in 30 days. And I really paused and I thought about that for a second and I thought to myself, why do I really want that? I always talk about, oh, you can have a profitable business with, with a handful of followers. I don't like to say small following because small compared to what? And it kind of goes, speaks to what I was saying is that all those people are on the other side of those profiles. So we often take for granted the number of people that have already said yes to you. And we're always just on the hunt of more, more, more, more. And if that's you, that that's okay. You're not alone as a high achiever. So if you're anything like me, I get it because I'm a high achiever. And what happens to me is that I'm always in per this perpetual state of the chase. And sometimes that comes at the cost of not appreciating what's in front of me. In fact, that's part of the reason why I stopped launching. I used to do these launches and they would be so. They would, they would hurt my heart so badly because I kept wanting these really big launches. I would get 10 people to sign up. And I'd think, oh, well, ugh, can't believe I only got 10. And that would be my attitude about it. Instead of celebrating and really looking at those 10 people who are, who are so happy to have made an investment of themselves in themselves for the first time. And I was focusing on all of what didn't happen. And then I was in this perpetual cycle of, okay, well, I said I wanted to get X and I didn't hit that number, so that means I can't do this until I do this. And it was just a vicious cycle that I thought, no, something has got to change, which is why I got out of that pressure. And then I started to feel so much pressure when I was launching and I had to get out of that mentality and I needed to step into being the leader and start generating revenue every single day, which is what we do now. And this is part of how we do it. So really it's not. And, and so a lot of people have these 10k goals because they start to think, oh well, when I have 10k and then I'll have this profitable. But I can't tell you how many times people have slid into my DMs that with 40k, 50k, sometimes even over a hundred k followers, and they've asked me, how do I monetize? So again, that speaks to what I was saying earlier, which is those are the invisible components that we don't see. Okay, so the one I looked at that goal and I thought to myself, well, why do I really want that goal? There's also a part which I shared inside of the, of the program. But there's a part of me, some, sometimes that gets flared up that even though I know better, my ego still steps in. And sometimes I feel like, ugh, if I just had a few more thousand followers, I'd have more of an authority. Because you've likely, if you've been around me before, you've likely heard me say that there is definitely a level, a difference in expertise and authority. And I probably don't have to tell you that if you're listening and you are like me and the, the people I get to work with. I know you care about the science of training. I know you care about nuance. I know that you are bound by the rule number one in healthcare, provide no, do no harm. And I know that you also live in the coach's curse, knowing that there's always more to to learn. That's powerful. And I probably don't have to Tell you that there's someone out there right now that you could might even think of that has less expertise than you, but more. And so that used to really flare me up and I used to get really fired up and angry about that. But I recognize and realize that that is rooted in scarcity. That level of jealousy that I'm feeling means. And I'm feeling that fire because I what, what I'm really saying to myself is, oh, there's not enough for me. If that person has an abundance, then then there's not enough for me. And so that's why we get into trouble. So then instead I really asked myself, well, what is it that want? And so what I really want is I want to generate a thousand low ticket buyers. That's what I want. Now if you're curious as to how I got that and why I want that, I can link up a separate training for you. But statistically, in my years of experience, what I have noticed is that when people pay, they pay attention. When there is an emotional investment, people will show up and do the work for you. How many times have you downloaded a free PDF that has gone into the free freebie download graveyard that you have the best of intentions of opening, but for whatever reason life gets in the way and you just don't do it? How many challenges and webinars are all in the graveyard that you promise yourself you're going to do, you just don't do? How many times have you poured your heart and soul into hours of education and helping people and then just no one shows up? Okay, so that to me, it had to change. I had to get out of this perpetual chasing cash. So I built this pressure free sales system. And statistically what we found was that eight times people were eight times more likely to ascend into our premium offers once they have, once they had come in through the ecosystem with the low ticket offer, this also, this also turned our marketing budget to zero. So what that meant was for every dollar I put down, I instantly made back a dollar. So it would take what it took until it took. And the beautiful compartment of this, now I should probably do a separate episode on this. So if you want me to do it a separate episode on this. Just screenshot where you are right now. Post it to your story right now, tag me and let me know you want an extra episode on this. This helps me help more people and it also will help me create content for you. Okay, so what happens is it's not. People make two big mistakes when they put up this Pressure free sales system, number one is they create an offer that's outside of their market. So what that means is, is we are not trying to create multiple offers for different, different marketplaces. So for example, people say things like, oh, I'm not, you know, people who go to Walmart are not going to shop at Neiman Marcus. Well, number one, that's not true. Number two there, it's just a whole different ball game. Okay? So when you're creating meanings, a lot of Walmart product is made differently. The quality level is different. So we're not trying to take your premium offer and cannibalize it and create a low quality, mass production of that offer. That's not what I'm saying. That's not what this is. Think of it like someone is, you know, just because something's low ticket doesn't mean that it's low value or low quality. It just doesn't mean that. Look at Netflix, look at Disney plus. So people get that messed up in their mind, number one. Number two, they also tried to, to they, they create offers that sometimes either cannibalize their premium offer and they just miss the offers that were carrying people across this customer journey. And if you miss that, then you might struggle. Now, I am of the mind that if you're missing that in your paid offers, then you're likely you're also missing that inside of your free offers too. So it doesn't matter that it' because price, whether it's free or paid, is not the reason your people aren't buying. Oftentimes, not always, but oftentimes. Okay, so now that we know what the actual goal is and what I actually wanted, because what I realized, and what I hope you realize as you're listening to this episode, is that 10,000 followers does not translate into a thousand buyers. In fact, I. The algorithms, whether you're on TikTok, Instagram and Facebook, they're so sophisticated now that it doesn't even matter that you're following them. People have paid thousands of me thousands of dollars and don't even follow me. And then when I laughed and said, you're not even following me, they laughed because they said, I see your content all the time because that is what we're looking for. We are looking for visibility. The growth equation comes down to visibility value and volume. So you want to be number one in your niche, you need to be the most visible, period. So for me, followers isn't even a metric that I'm. That I'm tracking anymore. What I recognize and realize Is I wanted that authority. I wanted the authority of when someone comes to the page and says, oh, she must know what she's talking about. But I realized that's not actually a profitability metric. What I really want to look at is views. So now that we know what the goal is, we have to reverse engineer and really think through, well, what's it gonna take to get to that goal? And so the first thing that we need to start reverse engineering. Now, there are really six core metrics that I am reviewing and measuring. Two for traffic, two for leads, and two for sales. Okay. And it's this number that we are going to that or those six metrics are going to change depending on what your customer journey is, depending on what your funnel is. So for the purposes of this, we are going to be keeping track of our, the traffic, meaning how much, how many impression, how much content. In order to generate impression do I need to create number one in order to get to the second metric of traffic, which is take the next step? Okay, so for example, here I wanted people to go to the page. So there was going to be a number of people that see my content have an impression, and 1% of them, 1% will go to the sales page. Okay? So those are my traffic metrics that I, I want to, I want to look at. Okay, now we have leads. So now this is where it gets. Can sometimes get a little muddy because some people track followers and they think of that as a lead. I don't, but you can. I don't. So you need to be clear in your. For yourself, what are my lead metrics? How am I measuring? How do I know that this person is a lead? The two metrics I typically measure, are there going to be a percentage of people that opt in that say, yes, I'm interested, and then there's going to be a percentage of people that show up and participate. So for me, the way that I track these two metrics for the performance of this low ticket offer, because I didn't do a launch, this is literally straight to the page and buy. So a lead metric for me are the people who opt in and abandoned cartoons. That's a lead metric. And there's a slew of reasons why people do that. But that's a lead metric that I'm checking because they opted in. They said, yes, I'm in. But then they didn't show up. They didn't go all the way to put in their credit card information. 1. Number two, there is going to be a percentage of people that DM you. But then they just don't finish the conversation. They don't get to that page. So those were the metrics that I was measuring for my leads. They count as a lead because they DM me because they commented the word, because they took that next step action. Then you're going to have your sales metrics. What are the percent of people that actually bought after hitting that page? So that is your close percentage. Another metric that I'll track, but I didn't track in this one because it didn't pertain. But the other metric you'll, you'll, you'll track is what is the percentage of show up to the sales mechanism. So if you're doing calls, you'll book calls. A percentage of those people will show and then a percentage of those people will close. Those are my sales metrics. So those are the six metrics, performance metrics that I am always keeping a pulse on every single day so that I can change my binary action to say, to improve performance. So if I want a thousand low ticket buyers and then I reverse engineer it. So what is the percentage of people that need to hit that page in order to become a buyer based on my performance metrics? Then I need to ask myself, how many people need to opt in? How many people need to DM me and how many people need to take that next step to opt in? And then how many eyeballs, how many impressions do I need in order to hit those lead metrics? So I broke that down. And so for this I met, I had 12,000 to 30,000 people needed to hit my sales page, which means I needed about 60 to 150,000 impressions. So now that I know what these metrics are, the game becomes all right, well, how, how do I do it? And that is a way more powerful question to ask yourself than to ask why is this happening to me? Why is this working? Whatever it is and all that noise and nonsense that get into our head now. Speaking of noise and nonsense, that doesn't mean I didn't have any. Let me tell you. Okay, so I, when we're do the map, it all of a sudden I was flooded with a whole bunch of noise and nonsense that I really needed to work through. Okay. Part of it was because I was doing this alongside other customers. So I knew that there were eyes on me. And so I all of a sudden just started to felt have this immense amount of pressure that came up for me. So things like I had a whole bunch of fear, what if I can't do it? What if I had a whole, I also had a whole bunch of. I don't have enough time. My funnel isn't perfect. Something I get burned down on creating my own content, which is this is noise. That was coming up when I started. After I started to look at the map and realized oh my gosh, this is just not possible for me. I can't do this. I had. I get burnt down on my own content. Which is true. I spend so much time creating my clients content, reviewing content that I sometimes forget myself. It's just like I'm a mom. I, it's a lot of mom do this is that they pour into everybody else's cup and then forget their own. So my content will sometimes go to the wayside. Okay. Uh, I always. And then I would have feelings of scarcity. Scarcity comes up so much for me. It's something that is deep rooted in me that I've been working on which is that there's never enough. So I would compare myself thinking well so and so can do it better than me. Why me? Whatever. Even now that stuff was coming up, I also had a lot of fear of, of getting called out because part of being visible means that you're going to be seen. It also requires you to draw a line in the sand and make a decision about your opinion on something. Even if it, the opinion is. It depends. And that takes courage. And courage is not the absence of fear. It is with working with fear. So I had fear that I was gonna get called out by people I love. That's scary. There's also something else that comes up that I think, you know, so I, I also had evidence and you know, part of my messaging has been, has been I, you know, I can do all of this with just a handful of followers with less than 2,000 followers, less than 3,000 followers. That's part of, that's been part of my messaging and part of that I have held onto as this component of, of my identity, my safety so that I can stay relatable to my client. Because a lot of times I'll work with people that are like, well, it's easy for so and so because they have so much visibility. And then I've got to be, I get to be that evidence for people to show them what's possible despite your level of visibility. And so I, so, so that's part of it. But it also is attached to this feeling of like what if I can't do it? I've been so consistent on this account for X amount of months. And, and, or rather, let me rephrase, I have purposely not been consistent on this account because I get to hide behind the fact that, well, I'm not really trying. So that's why I don't have. Have results. And then I had this, like, crushing fear of like, well, what if I do go all in and then it doesn't work? And then what does that mean about me? All of that is noise and nonsense. Doesn't mean I'm not gonna address it. It means, oh, thank you for showing this to me. I need. This is what I need to work on. So these were all the things that came up that I needed to really just address. And part of addressing that was noticing it, naming it, reframing it. Okay, So I had to just keep stacking up and rewiring my brain to look at all the evidence of the amazing things that, that I have done. And there are a lot. So then. So number one, I had. I had to just clear the clutter. I had to clear the clutter that was in my brain. Number two, I had to have. And this is something I want to offer to you too. Right? I'm showing you this debrief, but I know that my offers work. I have evidence, I have proof. I know that my ascension model that I have built, my offer stack in my business works. This takes effort, and this takes a lot of guessing, testing, and assessing. And the amount of time that it takes, well, that's on you. You get to determine what that time is. And yeah, sure, that is going to depend on skill and speed of skill acquisition, but there are a lot of things that are in your control to get the reps necessary to speed up the timeline, to hit your goals. And hey, listen there, no shade. And I don't mean that critically in terms of, you know, that being on you. Sometimes you have to be honest with yourself about, well, this is within my capacity and I'm gonna do everything I can with my in. Within my capacity. And that gets to be enough. Just don't be like me and pretend and fall into the, oh, well, I'm just too busy and blah, blah, blah and all that noise and nonsense. But when you actually look into which I discovered in this process, you go, oh, oops, I'm just tricking myself. That's ego. That's your brain trying to keep you safe. And trying to keep you safe means that trying to keep you within the circumstances that you're currently in, that is safety for your brain. So change is hard and change is literally rewiring the brain, that is what is required. Change is a consistent decision to do something different. Anyway, so once I started to like clear that clutter and get all things down, all the things done, I started to take action. Now there's a whole lot of other things, but listen, we're gonna be here ten hundred days. So what I did first was now that I knew the goal, now that I cleared the clutter, I had to break down the pat. Well, let's just break it down. So these are my metrics that I'm looking out after day. I just broke it up. Then I broke it up from, from day to day to, from week to week to day to day. And so then you have to start asking, well, if those are my metrics. So my daily metrics that I had was, okay, I need to have 3,000. I need to have 400 people opt in 2,000 eyeballs a day and 3,000 eyeballs a week. You know, so if I wanted to have 250 sales a week, that I needed 3,000 loads on my sales page and then I needed 15,000 eyeballs in order for that to happen. And those were kind of the things that I was looking at every single day. So when I knew that that was what I needed, I started to set, well, these are the binary actions that I can do and I can control every single day in order to make that happen. So I was going to. My commitment was three posts a day. I was going to comment back on every single person that, that commented me or DMed me. I was going to DM every follower and I was going to do 20 minutes a day of active commenting on my clients content and on people who I wanted to work with content. Now when I say that I was going to comment on that, I'm meaning I was really genuinely connecting with their content. Like, what did I like about their content? Why did I want to work with them? Okay? And I just commented on their stuff. I did not DM them. I did not. I did not slide into their DMs and be like, no, I didn't do that. But I knocked on their door because I commented. I also had my ads running. So those were the commitments that I made. And here's what happened. I had a sales team member quit. So now I was like, all right, I'm ready, I'm gonna do it. And then life happened. My ad started breaking down. I had a sales team member quit. My husband worked two sets of 11 days in a row. My kids got sick, and literally everything that could go Wrong. Went wrong. So what happened when that, you know. So when my lead profit planner left, that meant that I needed to take over another 17 hours of work per week. Cause I was also doing fulfillment calls, also doing marketing, so. And then also being a parent and working within my 9 to 3 windows as best as I could. Because when my husband's not home, I'm still the, the, the mom. I still have to do mom things. I still have to be a house manager. And sure, could I have created content when I was home with the kids, taking them to dance, dealing with their fevers, watching them like while I'm cleaning up vomit? Could I have created content while I was also trying to cook dinner and going to class? Parents stuff? Yeah, sure. In fact, I did. But did I do three posts a day? Honestly, I couldn't. And then what happened when I had broke my word to myself? Because that's what happened. I said, I'm going to post three times a day. I got three days in. And then life. Lifed. So then I broke my word to myself and I thought, okay, well guess what? I'm gonna start over on Monday. I was gonna start over on Monday. Listen, I was doing the exact same thing that your clients do when they're on a health and fitness journey. This was the. A familiar pattern for me of, oh, all or nothing mentality. Because I said three posts a day. Oh, well, I got, I got one. I'm failing. I'm just gonna give up. And so the only reason that I could recognize this is because I was doing a debrief every single day. And, and something that I want to share with you. It's really powerful, okay? It's really, really powerful. And I hope that you can hear this in the way that I'm intending to hear this. And it's going to depend on where you are in your own circumstances. Because if you had told this to me when I was drowning, when I was, when I was just urgently suffering, I would have not been able to hear you. So if that's you where you're at right now, listen, I get it. I've been there. But what I want to offer to you while I was doing this experiment, really powerful me for me to see. Because three things I noticed three things when I was doing this, which was, number one, I was getting into this, that old pattern, okay, of of all or nothing mentality, setting the stakes too high and then continuously breaking your word to yourself. That is an issue if you are constantly telling yourself that I'm going to do x And then you don't do it. You are training your brain to know and not understand. I mean, no, you are literally changing the neural pathways in your brain to say, I don't keep my word to myself. I say I'm gonna do something and then I don't do it. That is one of the biggest changes that you can make right now. And if you're like me and you hear that and your ego flares up and goes, I had kids puking. I had to do 17 hours of calls I wasn't expecting, like, listen, life is going to life and circumstances are going to come and one or two things got to happen. You either need to get the help or number two, you need to change your expectations and change the commitment. Restore your self integrity and change the commitment. Which is what I needed to do. Because breaking your word to yourself, just don't do it. Change the commitment. So instead of three times a day, I was like, I just can't do it. And I, I kept breaking for me. And I heard this from actually one of my clients. I heard this on one of the, I heard him say this. And honestly it, this has been a game changer, which is, he said, I don't do anything twice in a row. That I don't want to become a habit. So I start, I, I heard that and went, huh, okay. And he was talking about this through the lens of, of, of fitness. But this, this is such a powerful thing that you could take away for all of your commitments to yourself. Meaning if you. So if I went two days in a row of not posting three times a day, too big, it's too big of a commitment. I need to restore my integrity and change it. So I did, I was like, okay, can't post three times a day. I just can't. That's why I've got my ads running up behind me. Because listen, it's so much faster. It'll save you so much time. The fact that people tell you to DM a hundred people a day is so mind boggling to me because it literally will take you one tenth of the cost in time and money to just use ads. Like, I just, it just blows my mind anyway, so I just restored my integrity with my word. And I said myself and I said, I cannot commit to three times a day. I can commit to one time away day. That's what I did. And then I didn't break my word to myself and I started doing one time a day despite the circumstances that I'm in. And that was working. So that was number one. Okay. That was one of the biggest takeaways that I took away from this debrief. The second thing that I noticed, which is really important, this is why we have to do these debriefs. Don't just keep it in your head. Get it on pen and paper, because what we think is happening is a hundred percent of the time a distortion. It's through the lens of your context. So get the results down on paper. I kept thinking, I need more eyeballs. I need more eyeballs. I need more eyeballs. And let me give you an example of this. Sometimes my clients will say things to me like, oh, it's not working. Nobody wants my stuff. And I'll be like, nobody. Well, I had, you know, seven calls this week. Okay? So nobody. Or they'll say, okay, you know what? My nobody wants my offer. It's too expensive. And I'll be like, well, how do you know that? And they'll say to me, no one bought this week. Okay, so no one bought this week. Got it. So that's a fact. No one. You had no purchases. All right, how many people saw the offer? Well, what do you mean? How many calls did you have? None. Okay, so you're making a decision based on the fact that nobody heard your offer. So what's happening is fear's coming up. You think your offer's too expensive. That's why people aren't coming to the calls, when really, that's not what the data's telling you. So I had the same thing. I kept thinking, oh, I just need to get more eyeballs. I need to get no more eyeballs. But I actually had 60,000 people during this time. See, it just like my metric needed. So that stat went really well. Now, did we get the a thousand customers that I had originally intended to get? No, not even close. We got 74. And you might be thinking, only 74, Beverly, that's not enough. Listen. Or. Or you might be. Whatever you might be thinking, that was the goal that I set. I didn't reach the goal. I got 74 orders. That's a fact. Then we all have the interpretations of what happened. Okay, I still had 74 customers, but we generated $9,000.316 within that income. And did I do anything different? No. I showed up my. I did exactly what my commitments were. I said I. Well, I had to shift. I posted one time a day. I engaged for 20 minutes. I did all of that responding back. We had 74 customers. I think I grew about 200 followers. I mean, I didn't. That metric, I don't chase, I didn't look, I don't look at that metric. But I know we grew. And if you're wondering, well, how did you generate $9,000 from 74 orders? Well, that's part of the customer journey. We have all those offers that are stacked in place. That makes sense for this funnel. All I did and all I had to do was post one time a day, engage for 20 minutes. That's it. An all inbound engagement. All engagement for. In, in my world, meaning comment on my clients things. I, I actively commented on people, I genuinely love their content and I created content that attracts, connects and converts. That's what I did. Did it perform as well as I wanted it to? Wouldn't have been. So I really wanted to be like, we made that a thousand customers. Do we think that we're going to do that? Yes. And if you're like me and you're sitting here thinking, okay, Beverly, well, if it's so profitable and you have all that revenue, then why don't you just scale it? Why can't you just spend $2,000 a day? Okay, well, I wanna, I wanna address this because I think it's something that is not talk. And I've shared this publicly multiple times. But what happened to me in 2023, I had this horrible experience, which I will never do again. These were powerful lessons for me. But I had, I, I had a lot of things that I needed to learn and figure out. But basically we had about $250,000 default in contracts. Okay. So you could imagine the constraints that are put up when that happens. The profit margin. Everybody, everyone always wants to talk about revenue, but nobody wants to talk about the profit margin. I also can't tell you how many times people have had calls with me that said I have generated a million dollars and I legitimately cannot keep any of it. That is an issue. And I'm not laughing. I'm, I'm not laughing at you. I hope that if that's you and you're listening to this, I'm laughing so that I don't cry. I'm laughing because I wish that was one of the things that someone had told me before I had gotten into that everyone thinks it's not going to happen to them until it is. And then that's what happened to me. And this is what happens to a lot of people who are in that multiple six figure constraint right now. As we get into capacity, we get into these constraints of how do I maximize my Resources and time, energy, effort and money. This is why I have the low ticket leads. And also my premium offer is not infinitely scalable. We've since turned it around, meaning I, I literally onboard six clients a month. That's it. Because our support is unmatched. So when those six spots go, they go. Okay. So that's what happened. So the biggest lessons and takeaways that I learned from this experiment was number one, your commitment and self and word to yourself is the most important thing. And that your ego is going to be sneaky and you have to. This is where discipline will matter. So that was number. That was number one. So I just had to shift the commitments. And once I shift the commitments, it was still hard, by the way. I still wanted to. There were days that I had to show up when I didn't feel like it, but I did. But the quality of my work was good. I was proud of what came up. I just showed up. I also had to release the sense of like, ah, it's just gotta be what it's gonna be. And that I did. That happened. Number two. Number three, I'm really happy with the performance. There are things in the performance that I wanna fix that I wanna make better. I wanna make so that we can scale faster, so that we can grow the profit margin which we were had a good solid, you know, profit margin of 50% which is where I want my clients to clip. This was also during a really tough time. We had the elections in the states. We ha. We're going into the end of the year, we're going into holidays where everyone's mind starts to, you know, get unfocused and just trying to thinking, you know, thinking about the new year, they're already given up. There's so many reasons and things that happen, but that's what we did. And now we just continue to perfect the machine. We've put the structure down, we have the systems in place, we have the strategy that works and the support that is needed to fulfill. So now we just execute and continue to improve our performance metrics. So thanks for hanging out with me today. If this helped you help us help more people.
