If this is the first time that you're here, I definitely want to encourage you to check out the previous episodes where I unpack lesson 10, 9, 8. And now we are diving into number seven. The intention behind these short podcast episodes is to give you the daily inspiration, motivation, kick in the pants that you need to actually start generating the revenue and making the impact that you want to be making. In these episodes, I'll be sharing real time, behind the scenes, real talk, insight of what I've gone through inside of my business, what what I am going through, and then what my clients, with their permission, are also going through. So let's go ahead and just dive in. So today we're actually talking about the truth about action. Because the number one reason why I see so many people continue to struggle, if you are not getting the results and the outcomes that you want, it might be because of the way you're taking action. This is something. It was interesting. I was talking to my mentor yesterday and one of the things that he had said to me, he had really given me a kick in the pants and he didn't even realize that he was doing it because I had recognized at the time, this one tip that I'm about to give you was exactly what took me from continuously struggling with 10k years, and then with this one conversation he gave me, it turned into 120k in less than 6 months after years of struggle. And so what he said in this group conversation that I really heard, I really, I recognized, oh, he was talking to me was, he said, if you are not generating revenue inside of your business, you are not being responsible. Responsible. And that is not the same thing, by the way, as taking responsibility and that we have to own other people's pain struggles and that we need to, you know, go down this spiral of shame because, you know, for whatever reason, however, it does mean, and it did encourage me to look at all the ways inside of my business I was not being responsible and specifically relating it back to action because likely, I'm willing to bet that you might already know some of the things that you can do to start generating revenue. And for whatever reason that your brain is giving you, which are very real reasons, I am not going to be here and invalidate those reasons. The same reasons why I couldn't make revenue generate the revenue. Well, that's not fair. I'm a working mom. I'm a mom and I'm, I'm, I'm not as fast and I'm not as fast learning as other people. I'm, I'm, I only have certain amount of hours, all the same circumstances that were very real. And it's not to say that those aren't real, they are. But instead of focusing, which I was doing all the time back then when I was struggling, is I was focusing on the gap and not the gain. And I was looking for all the reasons why this was not working, instead of looking for how I can be resourceful and take action, inspire action that's in alignment. And what I consistently noticed in myself is that I would convince myself and trick myself into thinking that I was taking action when really I was just in the habit of being busy and specifically being busy focusing on all the things that weren't working. And so what happens and what I noticed in myself and what I started to notice in my clients is that oftentimes it's not even that they don't have the strategy. Half the time is not about the strategy. It's about getting clear about the signs of resistance that are coming up for all the reasons why you can't execute on said strategy. And you have to really be radically responsible and look at it clinically and ask yourself, am I being resourceful with the resources that are available to me right now? And so what ends up happening is people, especially if you're like me and you are a high achieve, high achiever and you start to get into this habit of I'll be ready when I'm Going to do it when I'm going to. I just need one more certification. And you're constantly in the pursuit of success instead of living in the now. Then what ends up happening is that you end up starting to leak your personal power. You end up starting to drain your resource of conviction. Because if you can't go all in on you, what's causing you to think that your clients are going to go all in on you? Your clients are going to need to borrow your certainty. And if you're not certain, how can you expect them to be certain? And so what happens is people aren't. And what I've noticed, and what I noticed in myself, is that people aren't convicted enough in that way. And so then they stop taking action and then they let fear lead them. And the truth about fear is it's never going away. You cannot have courage or be courageous without the presence of fear. So we need to integrate fear. Fear is there to keep you safe. Your brain literally thinks any sort of change is means that this is life threatening. And so the goal is not to mitigate or reduce or lose the sense of fear. It is the idea of integrating fear and moving through it faster so that you can take action faster. Because what I have noticed from the people who are successful in myself and also the millionaires that I know that I hang out with, that I spend time with, that I learn from, what I consistently see is they go all in on themselves faster, take action and learn the lesson faster. They are not absolved from having a human experience. So what they go through is very similar to what I'm willing to bet you go through. They just move through it faster and then take radical responsibility for the ways that they can be resourceful to generate revenue. Because wherever you are, at whatever current level, I am willing to bet you are closer to your goal than you even realize. It just comes down to what are the actions that you are willing to take. And then being relentlessly honest with yourself about the difference between what is absolutely in alignment, where you get out of alignment. Because people will say that to me all the time, oh, this is. I'm changing gears. I'm quitting because I'm bored. I get it, I get it. Sometimes even your clients are bored with the actions of getting into shape. So of course you might feel the same way. But I probably don't have to tell you that the relentless execution of doing the same thing over and over and over again, trusting the data to drive your decisions is going to be what gets you to that Next level. Otherwise, you run the risk of staying in that perfectionist, which is just another word for fear of not taking action. And then the other cautionary tale around action that I want to talk about inside of this short podcast is, is getting really relentlessly honest with yourself about the actions that you are taking. So now what happens to a lot of people? And I've noticed this in myself, and I noticed it in my clients. It wasn't until I stopped being on this roller coaster that I actually started to generate action or that I actually started to generate traction in my business. In addition to being radically responsible for the actions that we're taking, I also got brutally honest with myself about the habits I was forming. So if you remember, in the previous episode, I talked about the reinforcement theory of quitting to avoid pain, to quit. We're also in this habit loop. And that's part of being in that habit loop and relentlessly executing that same habit over and over and over again. And so what happened and what happens for me at least, and I'll just speak for myself, and if this resonates for you, I want to encourage you to look at this, because for me, what was happening was that I started to notice that I was feeling very comfortable in the discomfort and in the stress and in the discomfort ease of the chase. So I noticed that I was building all of these assets. I was building up momentum, and then one little thing went off the rails and I would just throw it all away and I would tear it all down and start all over again in the name of the chase. And now when someone would say this to me or bring this to my attention, I would get viscerally angry and have this, like, gut response of, like, how can you say that I enjoyed it, that there's of plenty pleasure in the struggle, but it's what my. It was the baseline for what my nervous system knew. So I was. So I felt safe in a state of chaos. And if you're sitting here thinking to me, you know, having. If you're like me and you're listening to this and you're like having a visceral response to how untrue that is, then I really want you, I want to encourage you and invite you to take a look at what your last 612 months have been like. Can you point to a moment in your life where you didn't feel that constant stress of your business, of your health or whatever it was, or whatever it is? So it was the state of. It was the actual action that I was taking that was perpetually keeping me in the state of stress that I had to look at. And I know this because I was sitting down with one of my accelerator clients and we were looking at some of the data that I had been looking that I had been creating in a previous funnel of mine or customer journey of mine. And we were looking through the data and I had this moment of, why did I turn this off? It was successful. I just needed to tweak this one thing. But it's because my baseline, what I'm comfortable in, was set to chaos, and I really had to look at that. And then when I started to shift out of that, when I started to be meticulous with my actions and get honest with myself, I noticed I was just. I was making fast emotional decisions in the name of action, but the action was counter to my dreams, counter to what I was actually trying to achieve. So then when I tried to go the opposite way and get a little bit slower and slow down and try and take more time to make sure that I was making the right decision, I noticed that I slowed it down. So for this episode, I want to leave you with the question to live in this question journal on this question, which is, if you could go all in on yourself faster, knowing that what you decide and the action you take, you cannot get wrong, what would you do differently? What would you do today that would be different than what you're currently doing? And then I want to invite you to consider what are the action steps that I'm not taking that I know will help me? Because sometimes, sometimes when it comes to no action, right? And I'll say things like, is it in your, you know, you know, people will say, it's just not in. Align with me. Alignment with me. Sometimes that is true. Some people are not going to do well being the initiator of conversations. They're just not. And that's okay. I'm okay with that. But then you have to know yourself enough to identify then what is the uncomfortable action that I'm willing to take. So maybe that uncomfortable action then is that I'm just going to keep going live every single day. I'm going to keep showing up and sharing my expertise so that people can then invite me to having the conversation and I can invite them to invite me. There's going to be some type of uncomfortable action that is required of you, regardless of whether it's in alignment or not. And you have to be. And you have to know yourself enough to know what that is and be resourceful enough not just with revenue but also with with your time effort. What are the resources that are already available to you right now that you could tap into that you know is going to help you take action? The uncomfortable inspired next step action from the person who from from the version of you that already has what you want. Hopefully this helped. Great job here.
