Welcome to the PT Profit Podcast.
Welcome back to the PT Profit Podcast. I'm your guest host, Chris Little, and today we are going to be breaking down some of the things that can help you stand out in the fitness industry or wellness space by using AI technology. A lot of people may have concerns that AI technology may put your job or role at risk, and what I'm here to talk about today is how you can leverage some of this technology and the direction that businesses online and in person may be taking with all of the things that are coming in with AI tech. First off, I want to talk about content creation. So here are the top five ways that artificial intelligence can help you with content creation in your business. So first and foremost, content generation. AI can use natural language processing or NLP to generate written content such as blog posts, articles and product descriptions. So this means that time that could be tied up in creating content can now be essentially delegated to a virtual assistant of sorts. And that can be done simply by using a platform like OpenAI. The next point number two is content curation. AI can analyze large amounts of data to identify relevant content for your target audience, helping to curate a personalized feed of content. So it's always helpful to have a second personal look over how you are going to curate your content. And what's better is that you don't actually have to source out a human. In all cases, you can utilize technology to get a better lens as to if you are conveying yourself the way that you want to in your media. So you come up with the original ideas and you can get feedback from artificial intelligence as to if that is the most concise way to say the message that you want to say, or if maybe it needs to be refined. The third piece here is content optimization. AI can analyze data on engagement and user behavior to optimize content for maximum impact and reach. And we can dive into that with how YouTube is going to be looking for certain things in your content. And so you can use artificial intelligence to almost reverse engineer how you are creating content to make the most captivating content possible possible based on different metrics that artificial intelligence is able to discern. The fourth piece here is content scheduling. Artificial intelligence can help schedule the optimal time to publish content based on user engagement patterns and audience demographics. So believe it or not, it does matter when you are publishing certain pieces and how you are publishing them. So if we use YouTube shorts as an example, you're very likely to have more engagement if you publish your content at the peak hours of which your audience is on their phones, versus if you just post your content at just random times. You want to be able to get your content in front of your people's eyes at the times that they're most likely to be on their device. And the fifth point here is content personalization. Artificial intelligence can help personalize content for individual users based on their preferences and behavior, helping to increase engagement and conversions. So you can utilize artificial intelligence based on the layout that you're displaying your content, Setting up your customers or clients for a personalized experience based on their preferences. Now, over the last month or so I have compiled a list of different AI technology resources that you can utilize within your fitness business. I'm going to go through them one by one and give you a outline of essentially how you could use them, whether they're free, whether they're paid, and what my personal take is on them. So the first on the list is called SEO AI. What SEO AI allows you to do is make SEO enhanced content at light speed so it has a free trial that you can utilize. And essentially what this will do for you is is it will create SEO optimized content that will be built around relevant keywords. This will ensure that your authentic messaging or the stuff that you want people to come to to see your business will be best case scenario for visibility. What I will say with this is you can also get a lot of value from ChatGPT. So when you go to Chat GPT you can ask for something like create an article that is optimized for fitness enthusiasts who have never been to a gym before. And then I can refine that by saying create an eye eye catching article. So the phrase that I'm going to type into Chat GPT is create an eye catching article that is optimized for fitness enthusiasts who have never been to a gym before. Now Chat GPT is creating an article for me based on that request and it is titled 5 tips for first time gym goers A Beginner's guide to achieving your fitness goals. Are you new to the gym scene and feeling a bit overwhelmed. You're not alone. Many people feel intimidated when starting their fitness journey, but it doesn't have to be that way. With the right mindset and approach, you can feel confident and in control when hitting the gym for the first time. Here are five tips to help you navigate your first gym experience and achieve your fitness goals. 1. Set realistic goals before you even step foot in the gym, take some time to think about what you want to achieve. Are you looking to lose weight, build muscle, or simply improve your overall health? Setting clear and realistic goals will help you stay motivated and on track. 2. Create a plan Once you know what you want to achieve, create a plan to get there. This might include scheduling gym sessions, researching effective exercises and tracking your progress. Learn the basics before you start lifting heavy weights or running on the treadmill, it's important to learn the basics of proper form and technique. This will help prevent injury and ensure that you're getting the most out of your workouts. 4. Be consistent Consistency is key when it comes to achieving your fitness goals. Make sure to schedule regular gym sessions and stick to them even if you're feeling tired or unmotivated. Remind yourself of your goals and push through. 5. Don't be afraid to ask for help if you're feeling unsure or overwhelmed, don't be afraid to ask for help. Whether it's from a personal trainer, a gym employee or more experienced gym goer, there are plenty of people who are willing to help and guide you. Starting your fitness journey can be intimidating, but with the right mindset and approach, you can achieve your goals and feel confident in the gym. Remember to set realistic goals, create a plan, learn the basics, be consistent, and don't be afraid to ask for help. Happy lifting. So the crazy thing with that is all of that was created with ChatGPT where SEO AI could enhance the experience is they're going to be able to pair an AI created blog post and they can optimize it for what will get you the best visibility on a search engine. So sometimes when you're paying for a service, you're going to get a more tailored outcome. But if you are just dabbling in artificial intelligence, there's a lot of free resources that you can make use of. So I'll say once again, that little excerpt that I just read that was actually created completely with artificial intelligence with very little input on my end. So the next piece that I want to tell you about is called Synthesia IO So when you are using a service like Synthesia that would be if you are wanting to create a course for your business or something tutorial based on. You can create a free AI video with Synthesia, but when it comes to pricing, there will be different pricing plans that give you a different amount of video credits per month, different capabilities such as text to video, different avatars, different templates, and it'll give you access to different branded items. So essentially what Synthesia does is it allows you to create professional AI videos at scale. So Synthesia is an AI video generation platform that enables you to quickly create videos with AI avatars in over 60 languages. It includes templates, a screen recorder, media library and more. So where this could be incredibly scalable is if you are looking to create tutorials or courses or anything instructional and then you want to scale it out to multiple different languages. Or perhaps you don't have the bandwidth to create these things where you are setting up your camera and speaking to it yourself, but you can script it. This could be a very powerful platform for someone who is trying to gain back their time while still creating valuable resources for their clients and community. The next product on the list here is Gila Cloud. Gila Cloud is an artificial intelligence that allows you to generate videos from news content, social posts, live sports events and statistical data in minutes. So what Gila Cloud can allow you to do is to repurpose content that you already have, perhaps build another social platform, maybe short form like TikTok or Instagram Reels or YouTube shorts. And it just allows you to simplify your video creation workflow. Some of the other features that I've come across as I've been doing this AI research are some of the programs you may already be using actually have AI integration already built in. So the things that I came across were Color Match and Morph Cut, which are built into Adobe Premiere. So that allows you to work smarter and not harder with regards to what colors you should be using in your video based on the coloring of the video footage, as well as being able to cut video at points that make sense based on the video and audio input. The next feature that I'm going to talk about here is one called Decipher. Decipher is one that I've used extensively and I can vouch for myself. What I will say is that I use Decipher to create a breakdown of the show notes. So if we go into Decipher to kind of see what it's all about, essentially all you would do is go to Decipher AI. You'd create your own account with that. And all is is you would upload the audio file of your podcast and it will usually be able to recognize if it's a solo episode or if there are two speakers. And it'll often ask for the names of those speakers to help with the transcription. What it's really good for is it can create a generally concise episode description for you, while also giving you show notes and giving you some of the episode highlights. It does require a little bit of editing on your end for any of the typos or miscommunications. Sometimes it'll interpret things differently than what they were. So I would say be mindful of that and go through and edit things yourself. But it's kind of like having an assistant that listens to the episode for you to give you more of a general sense of what the episode was about. And they might be able to call out highlights in the episode that you may not have noticed as the person who has done the episode. The next piece of technology that I'm going to feature today is called Runway ML. One of the really cool things about Runway ML is it allows you to look at video editing from a whole new perspective. Not only are you going to be able to clip up footage, you're also going to be able to utilize green screen technology and cloud based editing. So if you're working on a project with a team, you can collaborate in that way, but you're also going to be able to do some very cool visual effects and make use of a lot of AI generated technology. Now with Runway ML, they do have the different plans, so you can dabble in that technology yourself by using their starter plan, which will have limitations as to the quality that it exports, but it allows you to try things out. It'll also limit the amount of assets that you have and image generations. The next step above that would be their pro plan, and then you can go from there with a team plan and enterprise plan. What I want to bring to the floor is that Runway ML will be helpful for a person that isn't very advanced in their technology usage, and it will allow you to be able to do more cool things with the help of technology without having to have the skill set of somebody who is very well versed in something like Adobe, After Effects, etc. Now the next piece of technology that I'm going to highlight here is called descript. So you can find descript by going to descript.com and one of the things that I will say is I actually have been using Descript to go over podcasts such as this one, because it allows you to edit the podcast via the transcription that's created when you upload the audio or video. So you can use Descript to do video editing or audio editing. It will give you the transcription of the full file. You can combine multiple files into the project and it has cloud based storage where you can share your project with other people on your team. There is a free version and then there is also the paid versions. So the free version can allow you to dabble in the technology, see what it's all about, see if it's the right fit for you. But if you want to expand on the things that you're doing, it'll be in your best interest to go for a paid version. And I'll give you an example why. With the free version, it's going to limit you to one hour per month, it's going to limit your video export, and it's going to limit the amount of extra features that it does for you. When I first tried it, I could do one hour per month and that limited me to be able to edit one podcast. So then I upgraded to the pro version, which allows me to do 30 hours of editing per month. It allows unlimited watermark free video export. My video export resolution can be at 4K and it can remove filler words such as and 18 other different commonly used filler words and repeated words. Things like overdub are unlimited, AI green screen, unlimited, studio sound unlimited, and stock library is unlimited. And I'll give you examples of the cases where you would use those features. Overdub, for example, is a pretty powerful feature that allows you to capture your voice into the software so that you could take a script that you could create from ChatGPT, put that into descript, and then it could do an entire podcast episode completely generated from artificial intelligence that sounded like you based on your voice input. Basically how that would work is descript will give you a 30 minute script, 15 minute script, 5 minute script, where it will learn some of how you say words and then it'll create a library that's based on you. And you would input your artificial intelligence script into descript, or you could type out the entire script yourself into descript, and every word that you say will be narrated in your voice very close to your personality and Persona. With the AI green screen, that'll allow you to do different special effects as you're editing through your video. You can clip up your video just as you would in a video editor such as Adobe Premiere. It is a little bit of a learning curve going from one video editing software to the other. But what I would say is Descript is very user friendly, meaning that as you are starting to learn things, they're going to be easy to figure out just because of the platform and being very easy to find the features, find the buttons, and get help as needed with studio sound. Descript is actually a platform that is built around the needs of podcasts and podcasters. So the audio correction features are actually quite high level. And so if you are creating anything that has audio, you might find that to be quite handy. And lastly, the stock library. If you are doing something that is eye catching or you want it to be eye catching and you need to have some B roll, they have built in B roll within the stock library of Descript, which can be handy because then you don't have to go into multiple different programs to be able to find things and get additional resources. The next piece of AI technology that I'm going to walk you through is called Rewind. Now, what's wild about Rewind AI is it's described as the search engine for your life. And where I can see it being valuable is that a lot of people who are trying to run their business or trying to do multiple things at once will come across a lot of different valuable information and then they might not remember what information it was that they came across. So by having a tool such as Rewind, it is almost like having a personal assistant that can help you to go through the information and digest information, track information, narrate information, transcribe different information. So some of the things that it can do is it has mind boggling compression. So while it will be remembering everything that you're going through, it then compresses it to take up less space. So any of the videos that you've seen, anything that you might have said on a call, all that stuff gets saved and encrypted. Now, while on one hand it can be very eerie and maybe a little scary as to how much this technology can do, but for someone who is managing multiple clients or multiple projects, it could be a great way to ensure that you don't have to do or learn the same thing twice, it can also be a way that you can make use of some of the stuff that you've gone through in a day and maybe repurpose different content pieces by taking the transcriptions and putting into text images, or taking some of your summaries from the day and being able to optimize them with artificial intelligence. Technology. The one thing worth mentioning with Rewind AI is it is one of those platforms that is Mac specific. So if you want to explore something on PC, the alternative would be Hayday. Heyday is browser based, whereas Rewind is operating system based. So with Heyday, all you need is a browser compatible with their platform. The next piece of artificial intelligence technology that I'm going to highlight is basically going to put Microsoft PowerPoint in the dust. So what this is called is Tome app. So if you go to Tome app is essentially generative storytelling on demand. So where Tome could be useful is if you have to storytell and present on a topic and you need visuals and you need key points and you need it to be concise, but also deliver what you're trying to say. What Tome will be able to do is to help you with the visual, help you with creating your key points, and you can do the storytelling next to this visual as needed, or you can disperse this out to the people who you're presenting to. So if you find that you come across creative blocks, but you have a story to tell or a story to share, Tome can assist you with that by taking your messaging and putting it out into a way that other people can understand what you're trying to say in a visually and aesthetically pleasing matter. Another wild piece of technology that is out is called D ID. So you can find this@DID.com the thing that D ID can do is is it can create faces and it can create future facing videos based off those faces. So you can take a static visual such as a photograph, and you can create a presentation or a presenter or an instructional video with a narrator, someone who is speaking, all developed from AI, this can get pretty crazy. But when you think about it, that means that you don't have to set up your studio to do all the tutorial videos or the videos where you want a speaking person to be explaining how to explore things or learn things, or explain different messaging. Essentially, there are three ways to create faces within this platform. Can choose from an existing selection of photorealistic or illustrative faces, or you can upload an image of your own. Or you can harness the power of stable diffusion to generate any face that you can imagine. So this can get pretty wild. But at the same time, if you think about all of the obstacles that you may have come across in building your online business, where maybe technology wasn't working in your favor, or maybe you didn't have so much time in the day, maybe you want a personalized approach and you want to level it up from a robotic sounding static image, and you want to level up to be something that looks more like a real life human. This is a way to do it. And on the note of personalized artificial intelligent videos, there's also another platform called Behuman AI. So if you have ever bought a product or service and gotten a personalized message from it, maybe it was from the coach that you worked with, maybe it was from the founder of the business that you just purchased something with this technology may either intrigue you or kind of make you think twice about what technology is capable of. So what you can do is you can produce a single video and have it personalized for thousands of recipients, deliver over any channel and measure results instantly. So you could create a thank you message and personalize it for each recipient. What you may have to do to make this technology work is utilize the Overdub feature through descript where you can narrate a list of commonly used names in which behuman technology would be able to replace that name into the greeting. It would be able to use artificial intelligence to have it look like someone is speaking that personalized name. So as each different person buys your service or subscribes or follows, you are then able to generate a personalized message for each of them without having to sit down and record each one individually from start to finish. The case where I see this most likely to be used is in a business that deals with hundreds of thousands of different people where they still want to deliver. A personalized approach is not going to be used for all of the interactions, but it could certainly be used to help a person feel a little bit more seen as they start their transaction with a business. As we start to round out the list of AI technology that has been trending, that has stood out to me, the next piece is going to be called Browse AI. So Browse AI is kind of like having an assistant watch a website for an uncapped amount of time. This is just what they do all the time. So let's say you want to see when your favorite sandwich shop was open and they changed their hours all the time. A technology like Browse AI would monitor and extract data like that, and they can input it into the form of a spreadsheet. Browse AI can also extract data from different websites that you may use things that you may want information from that where you might not be able to extract that manually. And you can use its pre built robot setup features where you can browse pre built robots for popular Use cases and start using them right away. Some of the most popular use cases for browse AI when you're using a pre built robot are turning websites into APIs. If you need to regularly extract data from a website or web app that doesn't have an API, you can create your own scalable API with no code. You can do price monitoring to track and monitor market prices, whether they are your competitors or maybe commonly used products that you use for your business. You can use it for lead generation by building a prospect list and marketing database for multiple websites. Get structured data with proper columns and let your sales team focus on discovery and closing instead of copying and pasting information. You can use it for finance and investment. Regularly collect bulk data on your target markets from specific sources on the web with minimal effort. You can use it for business intelligence, basically looking at your market, spending less time in collecting information and more time analyzing the data and making informed decisions. You can use it for competitive marketing, product availability, content aggregation, staying on top of the latest news, updates and research. Maybe there's certain things happening weather related in your area that you need to stay on top of or traffic related. You can use it for academic research, being able to pull information from credible sites, and you can use it to build an AI ML product. So your AI slash ML product needs large scale data to be successful. You can extract clean data from every relevant source on the web with no code. So this is basically like having a supercharged assistant that helps you get through things that you would be looking at anyways, but it helps you get through it more efficiently. The second last piece of artificial intelligence technology that I'm going to talk about today is called Vidiq. So Vidiq is something that you're more likely than not going to want to invest in. So the free version will allow you to dabble in it. But if you're very serious about the features of Vidiq, you're probably going to want to subscribe to one of their pricing plans. And where it can be very powerful for you is being able to reverse engineer some of the content that you're creating. So what Vidiq will do is give you information on what's trending already, maybe what some of the things that your competitors are doing or what people are looking for when they're looking for your service. It can give you some productivity tools. It can generate thumbnails that'll increase your reach. So it's basically pulling information from what's already working to help you to develop what it is that you're going to craft. So rather than having yourself refine your methods through trial and error, it'll help you along the way and give you some best practice, give you some keywords that'll stand out and hooks that might help you create content that helps with your business but also increases your reach. So if you're willing to invest in that tech, it could be very versatile in your content creation. Audience Growth Plans for this Year Last but not least, the final piece of technology that I'm going to feature in this episode is called Resemble AI. Now this first and foremost is for when you're wanting to create voiceovers for your products. One thing that I would like to address is in Descript you can create voiceovers from your own voice if you were to go with the paid plan within that. So if that is an avenue that you want to explore, you might not even need Resemble. But if you want to have multiple different voices that you can use for different resources that you're creating, Resemble might be a handy resource for you. So it has a basic plan or a pro plan you can try for free for a limited amount of time. What it will do is it can allow you to download pre generated artificial intelligence voices and it can do multiple languages. If you go with the pro plan, you can also have it do voices based on different emotions and you will have the ability to download the audio and utilize it for whatever other projects that you're using it for. So the sky is limited as to how you are using this platform. Where it can be helpful is when you're thinking of doing things like voice capture. When you were thinking of recording in a studio, there's a lot of time and resources that are occupied in doing that, which can take away from the other parts of your business. So then rather than having to hire a voice actor or take up one of your team's time, you can actually artificially generate this stuff. And as the technology advances, the quality gets better and you're able to share your knowledge and resources with your people in a more efficient way and scale it out to multiple languages as that need arises. So as we wrap up this episode, what I will leave you with is that these or a summary of some of the top pieces of technology that have stood out to me as I have been learning more about artificial intelligence, I would say that I would not be concerned about artificial intelligence taking your job or replacing you. What I would say is if you want to have an edge with your business or with what you do, it is best to understand to the greatest extent how artificial intelligence can help you and find a couple tools to gain some of your time back so that you can continue to make game changing moves in your business with your day to day. Maybe increase your quality of life by not having to sit and think about so much content generation ideas. You can use it as an assistant, you can use it as like a second opinion. Artificial intelligence won't replace people, but it'll certainly help people. So hopefully this episode helps you and we'll catch you on the next one.
