An indie developer shares launching their seven-year-old game on Steam after sleepless nights of anxiety. The red launch button went live, players flooded in immediately, streamers and IGN covered it, and the community made it worth the wait.
I just launched my game on Steam that I've been making for the last 7 years, and I was so nervous before the launch I couldn't sleep for a few nights. And when I finally hit the big red launch button, I was blown away by how many of you guys hopped on, and I played with dozens of you. The servers were so active, it was surreal. We had some goofs, we had some gaffes, streamers played it, IGN covered it. I just want to say thank you for playing with me and making my game launch so fun.
