Bonjour! I'm on vacation in Foucault with my family. We're staying at a super fancy resort. Today I'm going to show you how we spend our day here. Welcome to my crib. Come on in. Welcome. As I said, I'm here with my family so this whole place is ours. We have 3 separate bedrooms, a common room, and our own private pool. I'll show you my bedroom first. The ceilings are so high. The bed is super comfortable and we have a beautiful view of the pool. Wow! I think I can open this. And dive into the pool from my bedroom. And this is the bathroom. We have a nice shower over here and then the toilet over here. It's not super good for privacy though. That's my only complaint so far. Next, I'll show you the common room. There's a living room over here with couches and a TV. We all sit here and talk a lot at night. We've got the nice kitchen complete with Shin Ramen, of course. My mother-in-law brought these just in case of an emergency. If we get tired of Vietnamese food, we can eat some Shin Ramen. And back here, there is no shower or bathtub. It's just a toilet. We call that a half bathroom. Without a doubt, the best part of this place is the private pool. There is even a fountain in this pool. It's just not turned on right now. The public pool closes early, but we can swim anytime we want in this pool. It's already super hot out, so I'm going to head to the public pool and beach area to get in the water and cool down a bit. Let's go! It is such a beautiful day today, and just look at the beautiful scenery here. Everything is just so green and fresh. I wanna lay out and get some sun, but I got a really bad sunburn yesterday. Ah, it stings! I found a lounge chair and I'm staying in the shade today. I'm putting on some sunscreen. Cameraman, can you get my back? Ready, go! I'm ready to swim, so I'm putting up my hair before I get in the water. I don't usually actually swim in the water. I just doggy paddle or float on a raft. I don't want to get my hair wet today, so I'm not gonna go under. I'm wrapping myself in a towel to dry off. This is perfect. The only thing that would make it even better is a cocktail. Uh, what time is it now? Hey, it's 5 o'clock somewhere, okay? In the US, that's a very popular saying. If you want to have a drink earlier in the day but you feel a little bit guilty about it, you can It's 5 o'clock somewhere. That means somewhere in the world it's 5 PM, so it's okay to drink. Plus, I'm on vacation, so cocktails are acceptable at any time. Let's go get one. Hello! If I order a drink here, can it be brought to my chair over there? Yeah. Okay, thank you. Can I please get one Peach on the Beach? And one spicy Royale, and that's it. I'm going to read my book while I wait for my cocktail. I just started this new fantasy novel. It's called The House in the Cerulean Sea. It's about a man who is a case manager. He checks on orphanages. He's sent to one special orphanage where the kids all have magical powers. So far, it's pretty good. Thank you so much. This place is so bougie. They deliver food and drinks right to your chair. I ordered the spicy one for myself. Looks spicy. I guess I like to torture myself. Okay, here goes nothing. Oh, it has a little kick to it, but it's not bad. It's very refreshing. One cocktail for you, sir. Oh, thank you very much. You're welcome. No tip? No tip? Okay. I'm about to grab lunch with the fam, but there's one more place I want to show you on the way. Ah, looks so fun! There's a whole water park here in the resort. I think it's included with your room. Let's go see. Oh my God, I'm a bit dizzy after having a cocktail and going on a water slide. It was really fast. It was a great ride. I'm soaking wet though. I said I wasn't going to get my hair wet and look at me, I'm drenched. Ang Wong, cameraman, cameraman, cameraman. Can I please get one bun cha and one grilled chicken? Yes. Okay. Can we get some water please? Just still water? Still water, yes. Yes, please. I'm trying to eat as much Vietnamese food as possible before we leave. It looks really delicious and I love how they always serve it with fresh herbs on the side. That bun cha hit the spot. I love eating local food whenever I travel. Since the restaurant was right by the beach, I decided to come here for a walk, take in the views, and burn some calories. One more swim? Do we have time? It's tempting, but we have plans tonight, so I have to go back to my room and try to get a little bit cleaned up. We're heading to the lobby now. I love riding the buggy. It's like a roller coaster. We're taking a bus to go to Sunset Town. It's a double-decker bus, so I'm excited. I'm boarding the bus. We're going to the top level. I feel like a dog sticking its head out the window in the car. Duck! I have to duck because there are trees hitting the bus. Okay, I'm safe now. Oh wow, like the city is square. This seems like a tourist hotspot. We're getting in a fancy buggy. I love the cobblestone streets here, but it makes for a bumpy ride. We're on a guided tour now. Our guide is taking us to all of the best photo spots around the city. He is a professional photographer, I swear. He's telling us how to pose and taking great photos of us. Look at these. We definitely got the shot. This is going to be my new profile picture. Hello, can I get one coconut frappuccino? Sold out. Ah! Then can I do the coconut dulce de leche? Sold out. Oh my gosh. I wanted to get something that's only available in Vietnam. So I got café sueda. This is pretty good, so I'm content. Can we get one vegetarian spaghetti, one carbonara, crab cakes, and the baked salmon, please? Ja, I'm taking a stroll after dinner. It's so pretty all lit up at night here. There are lots of souvenir shops and restaurants and so many things to see and do. Oh, I left too early. Ashime! That was the grand finale and we missed it. Kintana! It was a great firework show though. We're going to another performance at 9:00, but We have some time to kill, so we stopped by a café and got some gelato for dessert. This is the perfect treat after dinner. It was a full day today and we're all pretty exhausted, so we're heading back to the resort now. Thank you. Oh, mom saved us again. It was impossible to get a taxi here. Thank you. Good night. I wanted to go to the game room when we got back because it's lots of fun there. They have a pool table, a ping pong table, foosball, and they even have bowling there. But tonight I am just way too tired. I'm going to change into my PJs and go to bed.
