I'd love to buy a fixer-upper. They have a lot of pull-out couches. I'm delulu right now. I always have room for dessert. What do you call these? These are called— Today I am shopping at IKEA. I don't actually need anything, so I'm just here to browse. I haven't been here in forever, so I'm excited to see what they have. Let's head in. I move around a lot, so I never really get to personalize my space or make it feel like me. One day I'd love to buy a fixer-upper and do some renovations and remodeling, like tearing out walls, redoing the kitchen, laying new flooring, and adding a fresh coat of paint. Ooh, I really like this living room. Warm lighting like this makes a space feel very cozy and inviting. I'm not a big fan of harsh overhead lights at home. A nice lamp like this can totally change the vibe of a room. Wow, it's like looking into the future. I can see myself here. Where's my dinner? Oh, your dinner? That's all the way over in the kitchen. We have a huge house, so let's go. I'm exhausted. That was such a long walk from our living room to our kitchen. That's the problem with having a mansion. The kitchen is always my favorite part of any house. I used to love cooking and the kitchen is usually where a lot of people gather, so it's a very important part of any house. Having a big, nice kitchen like this one day is my dream. Honey, you're home. Our chef couldn't make it today, so I was going to whip up something quick and easy like filet mignon and lobster. What do you think? I'm Delulu right now. Just let me be Delulu in peace, okay? A girl can dream. I think I found the cameraman's favorite room. Cameraman, are you practicing editing my videos? Going to SEO. Get to work. Yoshimihei, let's test your vocab a little bit throughout this What do you call these? These are called faucets. What do you call this? This is a shower head. This is where you put your dirty clothes. It's called a hamper. How about this? This is called a strainer. What do you call these? These are called food containers, but in everyday English, a lot of people call it Tupperware. Tupperware is actually the name of a brand that sells a lot of food containers and other kitchen supplies. Last one because this one is a fun word. What do you call this? This is called a squeegee. I just love that word. It sounds so silly. In the US, a lot of people are really into doing DIY projects in their homes. DIY stands for do it yourself. There's even a TV channel called HGTV which stands for Home and Garden Television. On that channel, they have a ton of shows of people doing home makeovers, flipping houses, and house hunting. Behind me are some tools commonly used when doing DIY projects. I see a level, a power drill, a hammer, and nails, but you'll also probably need measuring tape. They have a lot of pull-out couches here at IKEA. I actually have some trauma from an IKEA pull-out couch. I built one all by myself. It was so heavy and hard. I'm surprised I didn't throw my back out. Building IKEA furniture is not for the weak, but I did it. I'm so proud of myself. I notice a lot of the furniture here has a very minimalist feel to it. And although I'm trying to live like a minimalist these days, my favorite style of home is actually the opposite— maximalist. In maximalist rooms, you'll find a lot of little trinkets bold colors, fun patterns, and mixing and matching different styles. It sounds a little crazy, but if it's done right, it's really fun and whimsical. All right, vlog's over. Good night, everyone. I could use a nap. It's quite comfortable. This mattress is a little bit firm, but I like it. Okay, let's keep going. Oh my gosh! They have bunk beds here. I had a bunk bed when I was a kid and I used to love sleeping on the top bunk. This one is really cool because instead of having another bed on the bottom, they have a little loveseat. A loveseat is a 2-person sofa. It's a cute word, isn't it? I think they call it a loveseat since it's small. You have to get really close to the person next to you. Come on, cameraman. Sit next to me. Huh? Wow, you're ditching me. Wow. I really like this bedroom. It's mostly black and white, but they added some pops of color. They have a green throw pillow and a red chair. I also love how they mix and matched different patterns here. They have a polka dot blanket and a striped pillow. Very nice. These are all fake plants. This is the perfect section for me because I love how plants can brighten up a room, but I don't exactly have a green thumb. This whole room is full of stuffed animals. I spotted my favorite animal. Any guesses what it is? An elephant! It's so cute. Can he come home with us? That's bigger than me. Yeah, he is pretty big. Let's see if we can find a smaller one. How much is it? Ooh, 3,900. Not bad. Let's get one. I can't leave here empty-handed, right? I need to buy something. Wow. Of course we need the Swedish meatballs. Look at how many vegan options there are. I'm actually a first-timer. I've never eaten at IKEA before. It's so cool that you get a cart for your food. Gamsahamnida. I know that every vlog becomes a mukbang, but I couldn't leave without grabbing a quick bite at the food court. I've heard that IKEA's meatballs are a must. I love that they have a little Swedish flag here. I traveled to Sweden a long time ago and I loved it there. That is very tart. I think it's cranberry maybe. Let's try a meatball, the main event here. Okay, it's pretty good. I really like the creamy sauce, but I wish they had more gravy. Usually I love my mashed potatoes smothered in gravy. Let's see what I like more, the chicken or the meatballs. Mm, I really like this sauce, whatever it is. It's a little bit spicy. I can't decide, I like them both. Is that grilled bibimbap? Yes, it is cooked perfectly, evenly cooked, very complex flavor profile. The chef's intention was well delivered here. Gamsahamnida! Aren't you full? I always have room for dessert. Especially for soft serve. Mmm, it's banana and blueberry swirl. That's a wrap on my trip to IKEA. I didn't buy much, but I got a lot of inspiration for my future home. Thanks for joining me, and I'll see you next time. Bye!
