Callie Anderson asks a hotel front desk if she can check in an hour early at 2 p.m. The staff explains early check-in depends on room availability and that guests typically check out at noon, so rooms need cleaning time before new arrivals.
Good afternoon, America's Best Value, and how can I help you?
Hello, my name is Callie Anderson. I have just one room booked for the night, and it looks like I'll be arriving around 2 o'clock this afternoon, so I was wondering if it was possible to check in like an hour early.
Well, if we have rooms available, it'll be no problem, but we just have to make sure we have rooms available.
Okay.
People don't check out until 12 o'clock, so it takes us a minute to clean the rooms.
Okay, so is that just something once we arrive we'll have to check? You won't until then? Ah, yes ma'am. Okay, thank you very much.
