Good morning! My morning routine with my 7-month-old begins when he wakes up. I get to hear Weston on the baby monitor, and then I go check him. As you can hear, he's awake. Hey, Baba! Good morning! How'd we sleep? Did you sleep good? Let's get you changed. Now it's the first change of the day, because who wants a dirty diaper? We make sure that he is safely on his changing table, and we have all of our supplies right in our drawer here. We have our wipes and our diapers. So let's get him changed. We are all changed, and now we're going to make breakfast. We like to make some pancakes so he can get some practice. Hehehe, you like it? Weston goes into his high chair, so we're going to put him down and buckle him in. Yeah! After breakfast, we like to go for a morning walk to get some sun. We have our stroller, my coffee, and of course Weston and our dog. We're off for a nice stroll around the neighborhood. And that is my morning routine with a 7-month-old, but because he's so young, it changes every day, so we just roll with it. A nighttime routine with a 7-month-old can vary sometimes, but for tonight, our nighttime routine is starting with some dinner. We are practicing our solid foods. I am using an avocado and doing little slices for him so he can practice eating. We just give it to him, so it's kind of like baby-led weaning. Grab it. Yay! Good bites! Mmm! Yum yum! After dinner, we like to take our bath because he gets extra messy playing with his food. We have his towel and his washcloth ready to go. We're going to go get his sink tub and get him in the bath. Shark or star? Which one? Oh, the star. That's a good one. Stay in. Now that bath time is all done, we are going to dry him off, get a onesie on him, and then come make a bottle for the night. Mm-hmm. We are all dressed for bed, so now I'm going to make his bottle while Dad rocks with him for a little bit. We use Similac in a Dr. Brown's glass bottle. We give him 7.5 ounces in here. We'll get a nice hot cup of water. The cup of water is to warm it up so it's not too hot, but just warm. We let it sit for a bit while we go and finish playing with him. Once it's warm, then we'll feed, breastfeed, and lights out for bedtime. We are all ready for bedtime and our nighttime bottle. First, we test it to make sure it's not too hot. I just dump a little on my wrist And if it feels fine to me, not too cold and not too hot, we are good to go. And we're ready. Good night, everybody.
