A native English speaker recounts their week: the high was celebrating a best friend's birthday at Din Kai Fung with dim sum and drinks, the low was a disrupted sleep schedule that left them unproductive in the mornings, when they do their best work.
My high this week was going to my best friend's birthday. Four of us went out for dim sum. It was so delicious. We ate at Din Kai Fung and ordered way too much food. I think our eyes were bigger than our stomachs. After that, we grabbed a few drinks and just spent some quality time together. My low this week was definitely my lack of routines. My sleep schedule was a bit off. I stayed up late at night and then I slept in in the mornings, and I hate doing that. I'm most productive in the morning, so when I sleep in, it tends to stress me out.
